Software Engineer-Java

• Experience in Core Java 5.0 and above, Data Structures, OOPS, Multithreading, Algorithms, Collections, Unix/Linux
• Possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
• Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client-facing applications.
• Good development experience with RDBMS
• Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Excellent problem solving and coding skills in Java
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Should have the ability to express their design ideas and thoughts.

Required Skills

Backend (40%)

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of Microservices Architecture
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices is preferred

Frontend (60%)

• Strong experience in Angular (v10 or above preferred)
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with Angular Components, Services, Routing, RxJS, Forms, and State Management
• Knowledge of responsive UI development and REST API integration
• Experience with Angular Material or Bootstrap is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy applications.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Jenkins, or other DevOps tools.

Skill Split

• Java, Spring Boot & Microservices: 40%
• Angular: 60%

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Requirements:

• B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college with a minimum of 4 – 6 years of experience in a Product Development Company
• Sound knowledge and application of algorithms and data structures with space and me complexities
• Strong design skills involving data modeling and low-level class design
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and Golang
• Follow industry coding standards and be responsible for writing maintainable/scalable/efficient code to solve business problems
• Hands-on experience of working with Databases and the Linux/Unix platform
• Follow SDLC in an agile environment and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to drive deliveries
• Strong technical aptitude and good knowledge of CS fundamentals
