The Application Development team's tech stack can consist of VueJS, ReactJS or Angular on the front end and also includes Typescript, NodeJS, Express, NestJS, PostgreSQL, RESTful Microservices, and cloud services.

In this role, you will be leveraging your well-versed knowledge of software engineering principles and system design along with a team of interesting and super-smart engineers to solve new and hard to solve business problems with elegant software. Required Experience:

• Love of Javascript/Typescript with a strong understanding of its design patterns, best practices, and style guides with atleast 4+ years of experience in Frontend development.
• Strong production experience with Javascript MVC frameworks - preferably AngularJS, React JS, and/or VueJS
• C# and API Development (RESTful, GraphQL, .Net Web API) experience
• Test first and test often development approach with Karma and Jasmine, Mocha, or Protractor frameworks
• Ability to leverage Git version control in a production environment
• Have experience with and curiosity of agile and lean philosophies
• Have experience working and a strong understanding of object-oriented programing and browser technologies
• Ability to see and communicate your ideas to clients and the team

Responsibilities

• Work on cutting-edge web technologies to make a powerful impact on 1M+ enterprise users
• Be part of a growing team that will design, develop, and test software and cross-product applications which span across different Planview products
• Work in an agile engineering team writing maintainable and scalable code for software components and influencing team decisions

Preferred skills

• Passion for building useful and neat graphical user interfaces

Skills and Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of javascript development experience
2. In-depth understanding of javascript and reactjs
3. Experience in designing effective data structures and algorithms

6. Experience and understanding of any backend framework would be a plus
7. Experience with version control and project management tools
8. Excellent oral and written communication (english + 1 local language)

  • Write hand-coded HTML5, JS, and CSS(SCSS) that is thoroughly standards-compliant.

  • Solid Javascript experience.

    -Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

  • You know how to architect all components of a frontend project

  • You have experience reading API documentation and working with different endpoints to compose the desired effect

  • You know how to run projects through solid processes (things like code reviews, reviewing stories, planning)

  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

  • Picks up new technologies quickly and efficiently

  • Uses Git effectively

  • Know how to create tests and why it's important
