Role: Senior Full Stack Lead (Backend Focus)

We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Full Stack Lead with strong backend expertise and solid solutioning experience and development experience

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, capable of designing scalable solutions, and experienced in leading development across web and mobile platforms.

Key Expectations:

• Strong solutioning and development experience
• Backend-focused full stack profile
• Experience in Healthcare / Insurance domain (good to have)
• Hands-on experience building mobile applications (important) and web applications throughout career
• Experience with applications deployed to App Store / Play Store

Mandatory Skills:

• Java
• Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• React (Client is using)

Nice to Have:

• Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• CI/CD and DevOps practices

•  5+ years of experience developing web applications using J2EE.
•  5+ years of experience in Spring Boot.
•  Good knowledge of MicroServices.
•  Experience working with tools like Git, Maven.
•  Expertise developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using MicroServices, with demonstrable production-scale experience.
•  Working experience in Industry Standard protocols related API Security including OAuth is a must.
•  Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
•  Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments.
•  Strong Shell scripting experience.
•  Working knowledge with Oracle, DB2 or Mongo DB databases.
•  Passion to stay on top of the latest happenings in the tech world and an attitude to discuss and bring those into play.

Thingworx Developer/Sr Developer

Required experience range between 3-6 years.

· Thingworx Navigate experience desired

· Languages - Java, JavaScript & CSS

· Experience in Core Java, Java collections & Oops Concept

· Databases – MySQL, MS-SQL

· Having good working knowledge with XML, JSON.

· Design and Application development using Thingworx version - (8.2,8.5,9.X)

· ThingWorx service creation using JavaScript

· Develop ThingWorx extension using Java

· ThingWorx service creation using Java Extension

· ThingWorx mashups design and development

· Data storage in ThingWorx - Stream/Value Stream/Data Tables

· Integration with source/target system using REST API, data Files.

· Familiar with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)

· Thingworx Integration with 3rd apps preferred and will be added advantage

• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• Taking lead on projects, as needed.

• B.Tech/B.E (preferably in Computer Science Engineering) 
• 7+ years of hands-on programming experience in building data-driven REST APIs, services & platforms using advanced Java frameworks like Spring, Redis, Node.js etc. with deep focus on integration & scale.
• We also look for hands-on experience with Mysql, Elasticsearch (or Solr) and Nosql stores.
• Our evaluation starts with focus on computer science fundamentals, data structures & algorithms.
• You will have been learning new technologies every week and prefer folks who can use golang/rust for backend development and are familiar with equivalent data stores, index stores and pub-sub technologies.

Job Description

• Design & implement backend APIs at Locus.sh
• Mentor junior developers technically.
• Actively work to reduce tech debt in the Locus backend
• Work towards more stability & scalability of the backend
• Tech stack - Java, AWS, Aurora etc.

Eligibility

• 4-8 years of product company experience
• OOP implementation experience. Programming language does not matter, We use Java internally but have hired folks from non Java background.
• Hands on experience in SQL, Dynamo DB, Postgres etc preferred.
• Prior experience building REST APIs
• Advanced understanding of AWS stack
• Prior knowledge of solving problems at scale.
