At Pratishthan we are looking for enthusiastic software engineers with up to 5 years of work experience with great programming and problem-solving skills. You should be open to working in any of the tech stacks, as technology is just a means to deliver the solution to customer problems. Preferred technologies are Java, spring boot, Node JS or C++.  However, specific tech stack experience is not a prerequisite if the candidate has relevant experience and is open to learning. 

You will be part of an engineering team developing large cloud-based enterprise applications. Currently, the team @Pratishthan consists of passionate experienced individual contributors who want to make a difference in the software product landscape in India.

Requirements:

• Candidates should be hands-on developers with a strong command of data structures, algorithms, programming fundamentals and DBMS concepts.
• We look for people who have good conceptual clarity and can recognize patterns and come up with multiple approaches to solve problems.
• Candidates should have exposure to designing components as part of applications, independently. 
• Good scores in any of the online coding platforms like LeetCode, CodeChef, HackerRank etc. would be preferred. (Please specify the scores in the resume.)
• Experience in designing and developing microservices, event- driven systems, cloud platforms, data analytics etc would be added advantage.
• Looking for professionals who are passionate and self-driven to learn newer technologies and enjoy challenging work.

•  4-8 years of relevant experience in designing & developing and architecting systems/software
• for large business environments (Java, J2EE).
• • Strong design and coding skills in Enterprise Java, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, REST web
• services, JMS (ActiveMQ), XML, JSON.
• • Must have good experience in Unix/Oracle/SQL.
• • Experience in any communication framework (MQ) is an added advantage.
• • Experience in Agile Development, Scrum, and Iterative approaches
• • Participate in requirement gathering JAD sessions and support documentation

• Sound knowledge of Flutter framework & DART language
• Experience with Material Design and UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Architecture, design and development of distributed web based solutions based on J2EE architecture (Spring boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST) or PHP Laravel framework
• Proficient with Data Modelling, Object Oriented Design
• RDBMS and NoSql database (MongoDB)
• Experience in event driven & Microservices architecture
• Exposure to Agile, behaviour driven development, TDD , CI/CD
• Be self-driven and take ownership of deliverables end to end
• Working knowledge of HTML/ CSS

Roles and Responsibilities

• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle; determining design methodologies and toolsets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
• Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching.
• SADs (Senior application Developer ) maintain the job duties of a supervisor as well as a lower-level application developer These duties can include regular consultations with the Team concerning software, creating new programs, and testing newly installed programs to verify functionality.
• The managerial side of being a leader can include writing reports on team progress and presenting those reports to upper executive committees, per Coding standards. SADs also make executive-level standards decisions for their department, ensure company policies are being followed and counsel employees as needed

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or computer sciences. Combining full - time academics degree with certification in computer languages and software programs could be an added advantage.
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience as a leader with hands-on experience in programming languages such as Javascript, HTML, C++, PHP, Angular, Ajax, Rest Api, Node.Js, JQuery, MySQL, API Oath Integration, Shopify, Open Source app development, Social media Developer tool.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

• 5 to 10 years overall experience

• Strong knowledge of Agile development (Scrum)

• Proven working experience in server-side technologies like Java, Hibernate, Spring.

• Strong knowledge of any database technology like MySql or MongoDB

• Awareness of client-side technologies like JS and JQuery.

• Knowledge of the general tech landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
