Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with proven experience in developing and scaling Education ERP solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core PHP, MySQL, and React Native, along with hands-on experience in implementing ERP modules such as HR, Exams, Inventory, Learning Management System (LMS), Admissions, Fee Management, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Education ERP modules.

Work on end-to-end ERP features, including HR, Exam, Inventory, LMS, Admissions, Fees, and Finance.

Build and optimize REST APIs/GraphQL services and ensure seamless integrations.

Optimize system performance, scalability, and security for high-volume ERP usage.

Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements for ERP solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Node.js and Core PHP.

Proficiency with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL (database design & optimization).

Frontend knowledge: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS (React Native/Vue preferred).

Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, third-party integrations (payment gateways, SMS, email).

Hands-on with Git/GitHub, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

6 years of professional development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in ERP systems.

Preferred Experience

Prior work in Education ERP domain.

Deep knowledge of HR, Exam, Inventory, LMS, Admissions, Fees & Finance modules.

Exposure to high-traffic enterprise applications.

That’s where you come in. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead our transition to a Go-based microservices architecture. You will be the driving force behind our most critical systems—the prediction engine, the rewards ledger, the real-time data pipelines. You must have:

• Experience in the design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise applications with multiple tiers
• Exposure on agile test-driven development for robustness, usability, reliability, security and performance.
• Strong technical aptitude for any programming language, preferred, Core JAVA and Spring Boot and other Spring libraries, Eureka, Hystrix etc.
• Experience of creating architecture or developing web services using Open source technologies and to integrate applications with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Solid understanding of OOPS, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience on Kafka / Scala / Storm / Elastic Search and Web Services like RESTful.
• Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
• Extensive experience with version control systems (Git is preferred) and issue tracking systems (JIRA is preferred)
