Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Java Backend Developer with strong experience in designing and deploying scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in modern Java development, containerization, messaging systems like Kafka, and knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Spring Boot on Azure cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Work with Java 11+ features including Streams, Functional Programming, and Collections framework.
• Develop and manage Docker containers, enabling efficient development and deployment pipelines.
• Integrate messaging services like Apache Kafka into microservice architectures.
• Design and maintain data models using PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Implement unit testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Cucumber or similar tools.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and other teams for seamless CI/CD integration and deployment pipelines.
• Work with Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized services.
• Utilize Couchbase or similar NoSQL technologies when necessary.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to best practices and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Java (11 or above) and Spring Boot framework.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and deployment on Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, and exposure to Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Kafka, with real-world project experience.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (or any SQL DB) and data modeling principles.
• Experience in writing unit tests using JUnit and mocking tools.
• Experience with Cucumber or similar frameworks for API automation testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, DevOps processes, and Git-based workflows.

Nice to Have:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate)
• Familiarity with Couchbase or other NoSQL databases.

• Gauge or other BDD frameworks and experience in Fintech would be preferred.

• Strong hands-on code development experience in JAVA 14+, Restful Service, Spring Boot, JDBC Template.
• Experience in SQL scripting
• Experienced in developing and deploying web applications using Spring MVC and Spring boot.
•  Hands on experience in one of the IDE’s – Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Experience with Tools- Maven, Jenkins
• Experience in entire software development life cycle from analysis, coding, testing, debugging and publishing using GIT
•  AWS Services will be an added advantage

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science from a reputed engineering college.

10+ years of proven experience, with 2+ years of leading a team.

Very strong in hands-on coding.

8+ years of combined experience in JVM languages(Java, Scala, Kotlin, etc), any scripting language like python, relational and non-relational databases.

Very strong in system design. You should have designed and implemented large-scale Web applications or data systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.

Familiarity with technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop ecosystem, and modern warehouses like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, etc.

The Solution Architect plays a critical role in the architecture design and development of globally consistent Liquidity and Cash Management solutions and is a key contributor to the overall delivery in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develops technology road maps, while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies, and recommends business directions based on these technologies
• Provides technical leadership and is responsible for developing components of, or the overall systems design.
• Translates complex business problems into sound technical solutions.
• Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system.
• Contribute to ongoing architecture governance and reviewing proposed solutions.
• Lead integration of new and existing components with ICG Platforms.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years relevant experience
• Experience as Full-Stack Developer and Experience as Architect Desired
• Understanding of integration technologies concepts like Webservices, REST API etc
