Strong Software Engineer, Engineering Manager Profiles

Mandatory (Experience) – Must have minimum 4+ years of hands on experience in software development

Mandatory (Tech Skillset) – Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java / Node.js / Go / Python (any 1) OR 3+ YOE in frontend Development using React / Angular / Vue (any 1)

Mandatory (Mentoring Skillset) – Must have at least 1+ year of experience leading or mentoring a team of software engineers.

Mandatory (Tech Skills) – Must have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).

Mandatory (DevOps Skillset) – Must have hands-on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory (Company) – Top-tier/renowned product-based company (preferred Entreprise B2B SaaS)

Mandatory (Education) – Undergraduation from Tier-1 Engineering College (IIT, BITS, IIIT, NSUT, DTU, etc.)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Java + Kotlin Developer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll be responsible for building scalable backend systems and modern Kotlin-based applications, with opportunities to work on both Android and server-side development.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement modern applications using Kotlin (Android or Multiplatform)
• Work on APIs, microservices, and system integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin
• Strong grasp of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience with Android Development or Kotlin on JVM
• Familiar with Git, Gradle, and CI/CD tools
• Bonus: Experience with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, or Kotlin Multiplatform

Good to Have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS / GCP
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment

You should have:

• Tech or a higher degree in computer science or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience working on the back-end development for complex distributed systems who are willing to adopt any Programming language as per the requirement.
• Familiarity with any of the following – Java, C++, Scala, Kotlin, and frameworks like Spring, Play, Hibernate, Django, etc.
• Good understanding of Algorithms, Data Structure, OOP, Design patterns, Parallel programming, Multithreading concepts & Event-Driven Systems.
• Experience with Relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or any NoSQL database.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Worked on Micro-services architecture

Primary Role

• As an SSRS Report Engineer, the primary job role is to develop a transactional data report using Microsoft SQL Service Reporting Service 2016 or above.
• This includes developing high performing Stored Procedures, Functions, and corresponding reporting formats.
• Required to design the required logics for the queries and collaboratively coordinate with the rest of the team.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• Design & implement high performing T-SQL queries as per the functional specification.
• Create Technical Specification.
• Effective troubleshooting of technical issues and bugs.
• Package deployment and release management.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• Participate in Requirements discussions.
• Must be able to manage timelines and task priorities.
• Attention to detail and maintaining high-quality standards is a must.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (or above) and Microsoft SQL Service Reporting Service 2016 (or above).
• Knowledge of T-SQL including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views and functions.
• Experience with usage of indexes and T-SQL performance tuning techniques.
