We are looking for a React Native Engineer for our Mobile App. The Mobile App team is responsible for the mobile app used by our B2C users to register as well as complete their journey with Udrive cars initiation to end.

Your profile:

 

You have experience building high-performance mobile React Native applications on both iOS and Android platforms

Ability to translate Figma based designs to mobile interactions with pixel perfections

You show excellent knowledge of JavaScript and its nuances, including TypeScript.

You have experience with building real-time analytics solutions and streaming platforms

You are familiar with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle and store submission processes

It is great if you have an understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

● Contribute towards Designing and Developing functionality for our mobile app based on Cordova and
Angular.
● Rapidly build prototypes from mockups that can be directly implemented
● Create decoupled, interactive mobile UIs using applicable Frameworks
● Improve rendering performance and memory optimizations to create a performant UX
● Support, maintenance and ongoing development for existing applications and projects
● Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (React Native) who will lead the development for Jackett's mobile apps. Each day you'll design, build and ship features that will directly improve teachers' lives. You will shape our product direction and technical architecture for the years to come.

You'll report directly to the CTO and partner closely with teams across product and design to build React Native apps for Android and iOS from scratch. And we'll work together to create an environment where you can grow professionally. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the architecture, development and implementation of our mobile app to enable the team to quickly iterate a high-quality product.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
• Implement pixel perfect Ul's that match the designs.
• Create our iOS and Android deployment CI/CD pipeline to ship reliable features daily.
• Engage in technical research and champion best practices for writing clean, maintainable and reusable code with clear documentation.
• Accurately estimate time and effort required to deliver high quality features.
  Required Skills/Abilities:
• 4 + years of experience as a software engineer.
• Built and shipped high-quality mobile apps (android and iOS) using React Native.
• Production-level experience with Mobile C l / C D , unit testing and automated E2E testing
• Proficiency working with RESTful APIs.  
• Ability to take extreme ownership of your work and to deal with high pressure situations in a fast paced environment and meet targets without compromising the quality of the deliverables.
• Product understanding to break down user stories into high impact features.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, especially for a remote first work environment

The candidate must have 2-5 years of experience in Hybrid Mobile App Development and should be able to handle complete App Development Life Cycle independently. The Candidate must have released 6 applications in Google Play Store and in Apple Store (3+ on each platform)

Should be expert in writing cloud based code and deployment. - Development and Maintenance of Mobile Apps basis the business needs. - Implementing Security and Data protection measures. - Comprehending the overall system architecture and suggesting measures to improve the mobile app performance to meet customer's expectations. - Sound knowledge of Mobile Web Frameworks. Skills & Requirements  1 to 2 years of experience in building successful production software systems, developing Hybrid Mobile Applications and/or Large Scale Web Applications  BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.  Proficient knowledge of HTML5, CSS.  Proficient understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as React Native, AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, Ionic, jQuery etc.,  Basic understanding of back-end server implementations and data structures developed on AWS cloud technologies.  Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.  Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as responsive screen libraries is added advantage  Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Roles & Responsibilities  Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code for Android/iOS/Hybrid.  Support the entire Application Development life-cycle (concept, design, test, release and support)  Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions, troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.  Design interfaces to improve user experience.  Liaise with Product development team to plan new features & ensure applications meet quality standards.  Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.  Knowledge in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between.  Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Experience: 5-7 years relevant experience (Must have minimum 3 years experience in developing hybrid mobile applications). - 2 years of hands on Knowledge IBM MobileFirst . - 2 years of hands on experience on Angular 2/4 and ionic frameworks for Mobile App development (Native Android/ IOS, Hybrid HTML5) - Hybrid Application development experience with IBM MobileFirst - Angular JS, Ionic and Bootstrap knowledge will be required - Mobility application and Services experience - IOS and Android development experience would be added advantage. - Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies - Experience of working in an agile project would be preferred - Should have working knowledge of JIRA, Git, Gerrit, Sonar, npm, node.js - Banking experience is desirable"
