About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to build scalable data pipelines, Lakehouse architectures, and enterprise analytics solutions on the Azure cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & build data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks).
• Develop and optimize Lakehouse / Data Lake / Delta Lake architectures.
• Build ETL/ELT workflows using Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse.
• Create and optimize Power BI datasets, data models, and DAX calculations.
• Implement semantic models, incremental refresh, and Direct Lake/DirectQuery.
• Work with Azure services: ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Synapse, Event Hub, Functions, Databricks.
• Build dimensional models (Star/Snowflake) and support BI teams.
• Ensure data governance & security using Purview, RBAC, and AAD.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows, Notebooks).
• Expertise in Power BI (DAX, modeling, Dataflows, optimized datasets).
• Deep knowledge of Azure Data Engineering stack (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, SQL).
• Strong SQL, Python/PySpark skills.
• Experience in Delta Lake, Medallion architecture, and data quality frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Azure Certifications (DP-203, PL-300, Fabric Analytics Engineer).
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
• Databricks experience (preferred).

DevOps Engineer

Our engineering team is looking for Big-Data DevOps engineers to join the engineering team and help us automate the build, release, packaging and infrastructure provisioning and support processes. The candidate is expected to own the full life-cycle of provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, maintenance and support for cloud as well as on premise deployments.

Responsibilities

• 3-plus years of DevOps experience managing the Big Data application stack including HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive and Hbase
• Deeper understanding of all the configurations required for installing and maintaining the infrastructure in the long run
• Experience setting up high availability, configuring resource allocation, setting up capacity schedulers, handling data recovery tasks
• Experience with middle-layer technologies including web servers (httpd, ningx),

application servers (Jboss, Tomcat) and database systems (postgres, mysql)

• Experience setting up enterprise security solutions including setting up active directories, firewalls, SSL certificates, Kerberos KDC servers, etc.
• Experience maintaining and hardening the infrastructure by regularly applying required security packages and patches
• Experience supporting on-premise solutions as well as on AWS cloud
• Experience working with and supporting Spark-based applications on YARN
• Experience with one or more automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, etc
• Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and various test report and coverage Plugins
• Experience defining and automating the build, versioning and release processes for complex enterprise products
• Experience supporting clients remotely and on-site
• Experience working with and supporting Java- and Python-based tech stacks would be a Plus

• Expert in Python, with knowledge of Python web framework Django
• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
• Strong experience on Linux
• Solid database skills in a relational database (i. e. PostgresSQL)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Deep and wide knowledge of Java ecosystem

• Know the importance of tests and how to approach writing different types of tests
• Good intuition for REST API design
• Deep understanding of relational databases, transactions, entity-relationship modeling
• Comfortable writing highly concurrent systems
• Experienced in using profilers, tuning garbage collection, optimizing SQL queries

Bonus:

• Understanding of domain-driven design concepts like ubiquitous language, bounded contexts, aggregates and domain events
• Know how to use test driven development as a design tool
• Good intuition for the principles underlying object-orientation, particularly encapsulation
• Understand the importance of immutability and of reducing the state-space of objects
