🔧 What You’ll Work On:

Backend development using Node.js

Firebase, SQL & NoSQL database management

RESTful API integration

Deployment on AWS infrastructure

• Skills required: JAVA, Python (Flask and Django), Spring/Spring Boot, React, Hibernate,
• 2+ years of experience in Java and Python
• Linux, REST, Kafka, Mysql,, AWS, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch), CI/CD
• Good experience in Java and/or Python based
• Experience in designing databases and system
• Experience in building products from scratch at well-funded start-ups

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team to help build and maintain our growing list of products. You should have prior experience being responsible for building sufficiently complex features by yourself.

Responsibilities: 

• Implement product features by writing clean, robust, reusable code with tests
• Conduct peer reviews to keep the codebase a great environment to work on
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Bring new ideas and best practices to improve the team and the codebase

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Proficiency in backend programming languages like Python
• Experience working with web application frameworks like Django
• Experience in building web services using relational databases like PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Proficiency in writing highly performant and scalable code
• Experience in building REST APIs and a good understanding of best practices around building APIs
• Good communication skills with an ability to articulate your views
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will get an opportunity to work on AI/ML technologies using NodeJS for web applications.
• Deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced customer-facing product.
• Specify, design, and implement the functionality and behaviors of the web infrastructure.
• Be involved in the full life-cycle of development from concept through integration, test, and high web traffic deployments.
• Interface with the firmware team as well as clients and end-users of the products.
• API development using REST JSON/XML, and security standards like OAuth.

Requirements:

• BTech or MTech in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other similar majors.
• Experience building products with full-stack technologies, and an excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Must have experience in version control systems like GIT.
• Strong in NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications for Shiprocket Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Develop backend data services and contribute to increase existing APIs
• Ability to act individually in a complex and fast paced environment
• Closely work with the Product and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Participate in solution designing with Tech leads and Systems Architects
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Coordinate with co-developers and keep project manager well informed of the status of development efforts
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience
• A confident, self-starter, team player with drive, enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage yourself and be a self-starter.

• Great people skills to closely work with other teams.
• Strong in establishing systems & processes
• Expertise in Laravel, MySQL and Git
• Thorough in Object oriented concepts
• Knowledge of restful Web services
• Understanding of web applications
• Working knowledge of one or more caching, queuing systems in desirable
• Familiarity with AngularJs or React is a big plus
