Propel, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and talented Business Development Executive to join our team. This role primarily focuses on establishing connections with potential clients based in the United States. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by effectively communicating with leads, showcasing our offerings, and nurturing client relationships. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Outbound Calling: Initiate conversations with potential clients, engaging them in a professional and persuasive manner. 
2. Lead Follow-up: Follow up on leads generated through various channels, including website inquiries, email campaigns, and marketing events. 
3. Product Presentation: Present the company's products and services to potential clients, highlighting the unique value propositions and addressing their specific needs. 
4. Relationship Building: Nurture client relationships by actively listening to their requirements, providing relevant information, and building trust in our solutions. 
5. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, lead status, and follow-up activities in the CRM system. 
6. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads and align strategies for maximizing conversions. 
7. Feedback and Reporting: Provide timely feedback to the team on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and areas for improvement. 
8. Targets and Performance: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead conversion, call volumes, and other key performance indicators. 
9. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, competitive offerings, and product knowledge to effectively address client queries and concerns. 
10. Professional Conduct: Uphold the company's reputation by adhering to professional standards, ethical practices, and maintaining confidentiality of client information. 

Requirements: 

1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar role in sales department, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in the technology industry will be an added advantage. 
2. Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently. 
3. Cultural Adaptability: Familiarity with US business culture and the ability to adapt communication style and accent to resonate with US clients. 
4. Persuasion and Negotiation: Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively convert leads into clients and overcome objections. 
5. Time Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. 
6. CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage leads, track interactions, and generate reports. 
7. Shift Flexibility: Flexibility to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) to accommodate US client requirements and collaborate with the team effectively. 
8. Motivated and Target-Driven: Positive attitude, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding goals. 
9. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure a personalized client experience. 
10. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field.

• BE, BTech, ME, MTech– E&C/CS
• Experience of 6-8 years
• Potential to grasp new technologies
• Experience in Consumer-lifestyle companies
• Good understanding of any of the product categories including Hearables (TWS, Neckbank, Headphones), Wearable (Band, Smartwatches), Alexa Speakers/Voice Assistant, Soundbars, and any other consumer electronics products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of duty and initiative    

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in development using Python OR Node.js
• Experience with React.js

• Previous experience with Shopify customization is desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Mentor To Go is an android and web based platform to help students improve their work readiness through self-learning sessions, personalised mentorship provided by mentor professionals from a range of careers, and work experience opportunities.

The technology platform implements  functionalities such as: screening surveys of mentors and mentees, training content for mentors, matching through an algorithm, and mentorship through the delivery of structured activities. 

The application technology architecture comprises of the following:

o   a Python Django web application with NGinx and Gunicorn

o   PostgreSQL database

o   A React Android and Web app

o   Rest APIs which interact between the Android app and the Django webserver

We are looking for a backend software developer who is passionate about using web technologies to solve social problems and creating experiences that are elegant and effective. You will own the back end development of features of the Mentor To Go platform from conceptualisation through design and testing, working closely with other developers, the technical project manager, and the program operations team. You are user-centric, continuously demonstrate strategic & analytical abilities, and are laser focused on executing at speed. You must have the ability to succeed in a fast paced environment, where success is dependent on your ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members in a positive, productive, and transparent way.

Minimum requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably  CS  or related discipline  
• 3+ years experience working in Unix/Linux environments building web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in developing and deploying cloud based Python/Postgresql applications preferably using frameworks such as Django
• Experience with design and development of moderately complex software projects
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with version control software such as Git

Desired  requirements 

• 5+ years of overall relevant work experience
• Experience building apps using React/React-Native
• Basic understanding of AWS cloud
• Ability to participate in technical discussions and help make technical trade-offs
