Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's financial operations, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and tax regulations.
• Perform thorough financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to optimize efficiency and minimize risks.
• Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making processes by providing financial insights and guidance.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices to ensure adherence and relevance.

Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience in a corporate setting or public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation laws.
• Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

* Coordinate with CSMs to complete Pilot sales tracker, QBR Decks, End of pilot Decks

*Monitor Daily Sales volume and alert CSMs of Locations with Low volume counts

*Collaborate with other teammates to extract data figures, data entry (Google Sheets & Google Slides), and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success

*Helping in Minor Integration Changes

*Helping with Tickets and giving support when required

* Basic product knowledge of the software to assist with non-client facing action items 

* Good communication skill preferred           

• Highly proficient in JavaScript and Typescript, PassportJs, Sequelize.
• Working knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as ExpressJs, SailsJs, VueJs and  ElectronJs.
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, Mustache etc.
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, Less,Sass etc.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Sound knowledge of Testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Cucumber etc.
• Experience of writing unit, integration and E2E tests.
• Experience of working with SQL databases.
• Experience of integrating third party APIs.
• Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Good Communication Skills.

• Expertise in Java server-side development: Core Java, Golang Servlets, Spring Core, React JS, Spring Boot with GRPC, and Hibernate.
• Exposure to microservice design patterns.
• Good knowledge in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, Analysis, Design patterns, and other computer science concepts.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL will be added advantage.

• Ensure processes used for system testing are adequate and appropriate 
• Develop manual test procedures 
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that Leica Microsystems products meet (and exceed) end-user expectations 
• Develop and maintain the system and user acceptance tests and scripts based on product requirements  
• Procure, create and manage test data required 
• Executing system and user acceptance tests and producing test logs and issue reports 
• Management of test coverage to ensure all requirements are adequately tested 
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues to generate root cause identification and resolution 

Our Expectations:  

• Bachelor of Engineering or Masters in software engineering / Informatics or equivalent. 
• Experience in device/embedded software testing 
• Experience of working in an Agile environment, testing user stories, and participating in SCRUM, sprint planning, and backlog review activities. 
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in verbal and written English. 
• Experience working with CI tools (ideally TeamCity). 

Nice to have / Ideally:  

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certified tester. 
• Experience in medical device quality standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971. 
• 3-6 years of experience in testing medical device applications. 
• Experience working with teams across the globe. 
• Experience testing end-to-end applications that interact with hardware devices.

You will head our Platform team which will be tasked with building ZipLoan's platform layer along with a set of engineers reporting to you.

Role:

1. Understand the business end-to-end in order to drive a use-case driven architecture.
2. Identify parts of the code-base which can be made reusable as modules or services.
3. Propose architecture improvements to provide reliability and robustness at scale.
4. Provide a roadmap for evolution of the technology ecosystem.
5. Identify and erase technical debt.
6. Provide consultancy to engineering teams on specific design challenges.
7. Propose engineering best practices and help teams in adopting them.
