Human Resource Manager

Domain: Automation Testing – Selenium Job Purpose • Thought leadership - Consult with the client and setup/guides a team to strategize, design, implement and run automation solution supporting variety of applications • Technical leadership - Identify, evaluate, recommend, and optimize current automated testing processes and tools • Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach across project teams • Oversee technological delivery of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams • setting up end to end QA processes across Requirement Analysis,Test Strategy/Design and Test reporting • Participate in design and architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams • Designing & implementing enterprise wide QA strategy for variety of clients including complex applications across multiple tech stacks (involving both functional and automation testing) • Planning, estimating (should be aware of robust models and how to use them) and tracking team’s work • Status reporting: Track and report upon testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status etc. • Mentors/guides the team on technical knowhow • Adhere to company project standards and guidelines Mandatory Skills & Experience • 10-14 years of overall testing experience and atleast 4+ years of in-depth experience in establishing test automation frameworks, evaluating tools, and implementing continuous testing strategy • Hands on framework development for a Green Field Project • Strong hands on experience in Java/JavaScript programming languages; java collection frameworks • Strong experience on QA Automation tools such as Selenium/Cucumber/Appium/SOAPUIetc. • Strong exposure on UI or API automation, hands on Webservices/Microservices automation • Experience in CI/CD tools, such as Gitlab(preferable) / Jenkins • Experience in Cloud tech preferably AWS • Experience on Cloud Platforms such as Sauce Labs, Perfecto • Functional tools like Selenium (mandate), Webdriver IO, NightWatchJS, etc • Should have basic knowledge of JMeter or any other equivalent Performance testing tool • Sound Knowledge of methodologies and approaches such as Agile, BDD, DevOps etc. • Industry experience on Financial Services is preferred. Work with Business Analyst/end users to understand business requirements

2. Develop Prototype, Design documents.

3. Develop code in Java spring framework and Angular to meet requirements.

4. Involve in Testing cycle and track until the Production migration.

5. Follow Quality procedures and develop documents as per SDLC methodology.

6. Receiving support calls from MES Users and generation of tickets (manually or through system)

8. Routing unresolved and higher level (L2 & L3) calls to central MES teams

9. Keeping track of SLAs

10. Maintaining ticket resolution track and Resolves change request also assigned time to time.

Requirements

• Design and implement a full-stack web application using Python Django framework and ReactJS.
• 1+ years of experience in building and deploying web applications.
• Experience in designing and using RESTful APIs.
• Basic knowledge in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, , ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Understanding of databases, SQL and non-relational, plus the Django ORM.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience in web mark-up like HTML and CSS.
• Experience with data structure libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• A knack for bench marking and optimization.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from Tier-1/ Tier-2 institute from any relevant stream
• Prior experience (2-3 years) across logistics and warehousing industry
• High level of ownership, decision making skills and willingness to set up things from scratch
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good command over Office tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs and PowerPoint/Google Slides
• Prior start-up experience would be considered as an added advantage
• Ability to define priorities and manage timelines efficiently    

• We run functional teams based on the SCRUM methodology and are a fairly Agile environment, with 2-week sprints and teams with a minimum of 2 developers (preferably 3) plus a Platform Owner.
• Sprints cannot be interrupted and work is planned out well in advance to keep stress down to a minimum.

• Line by line code reviews for every pull request on Gitlab maintains code quality, and keep everyone in the loop & learning.
• At least 2 people working together on every project (collaborating not pairing)
