About the Role
You will work on an early-stage EdTech + HRTech platform that makes skills verifiable and hiring honest through proctored assessments, verified certificates, and hiring intelligence for candidates, students, and businesses.
This is a hybrid, founding-level product role. One person, two hats: you design the product (Product Design) and you run how it gets built (Product/Project Management). You own the product surface end-to-end—from the roadmap and the board, through the flows and the Figma file, to working with the engineering team to ship it.
We are looking for someone genuinely strong in both design and product delivery—not a designer who avoids process, and not a PM who can't design.
What You'll Do
Product Design (~55%)
● Design the product UI/UX—dashboards, exam flows, certificate pages, onboarding, and complex, data-rich interfaces.
● Own and grow the design system—component library, tokens, and patterns in Figma.
● Hold the visual bar—the product must feel credible to enterprise HR buyers and worth sharing with individual candidates.
● Design for clean handoff—your Figma is the source of truth the developers build from.
Product / Project Management (~45%)
● Own the roadmap and the board—translate founder intent into sprints, tickets, and clear acceptance criteria (Jira).
● Run the cadence—sprint planning, standups, sign-offs, unblock the team, and keep delivery moving.
● Own the specs—write and maintain product specs, flows, and decisions in Notion.
● Prioritize ruthlessly—decide what ships now, what waits, and what to say no to.
● Coordinate across frontend, backend, AI, and business teams.
Requirements
Must Have
● 1–3 years of experience in Product Design/UI-UX.
● A portfolio of real, shipped product UI (not just landing pages) with clear design-system thinking.
● Experience running product or project delivery.
● Advanced Figma skills—Auto Layout, Variables, Component Architecture, and Prototyping.
Strong Advantage
● Early-stage startup experience.
● EdTech or SaaS background.
● Comfortable working closely with developers and understanding technical constraints.
