You’ll be our first AI hire, bringing your expertise to a ‘plain white canvas’ where you’ll architect and implement our entire AI framework from scratch. In this role, you will:

• Conduct deep research on the foundations and capabilities of LLMs.
• Design and implement innovative research projects to explore the application of LLMs for code understanding and generation.
• Develop and evaluate novel techniques for LLM fine-tuning and adaptation to the specific needs
• Collaborate with engineers and other scientists to integrate LLM solutions seamlessly into the Nurturebox platform.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in LLM research and present findings at conferences and within the company.
• Build a RAG-based solution and leverage Vector DB, Graph DB, chunking, ranking, indexing, semantic search, etc.

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• Strong foundation skills in AI/ML systems
• Hands-on experience of working with LLMs
• Proven experience conducting deep research on LLMs, with a strong understanding of their architecture, training methods, and capabilities.
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including text representation, machine translation, and text summarization.
• A solid foundation in machine learning fundamentals, including deep learning architectures and optimization algorithms.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, with experience using popular deep learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of what's possible with LLMs.
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation methodologies

Bonus points for:

• Experience working with LLM for codebase
• Experience in building and deploying real-world LLM applications.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• A strong publication record in top AI and NLP conferences and journals.

Qualifications 

2-5 years of Software Engineering experience in Node.js and React. 

Proven experience in architecting performant, complex application on web or mobile applications. 

Knowledge of end to end Software development life cycle.

Ability to work individually or in teams and mentor new developers to the team.

Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms and design patterns. 

A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

• Key Technical Skills: Deep experience on Performance Engineering with understanding of Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experienced in defining and realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale real- time enterprise Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same.
• Ability to review existing Architectures and identify Risks, Trade-offs, and share recommendations for addressing the identified
• Demonstrate strong understanding of cloud architecture considerations when scaling and tuning application deployments. Must have hands on experience working on any of the Cloud deployments on AWS or
• Good experience on leveraging APM tools to provide deep dive analysis on performance problems. Deep understanding of the dashboards which can be built for CIO level interactions. Must have relevant experience on APM tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Experience in performance optimization of J2EE systems on any of different types of application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss etc. Deep expertise in any one of the application servers is a
• Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment
• Experience on working on Performance Testing Projects. Fair understanding of Performance Testing tools - Apache JMeter /Gatling/ HP Load Runner for Load testing. Must be in a position to review Performance Testing programs and steer directions towards right Workload Model, appropriate Test and Monitoring Strategy, build performance models and derive at right Capacity Planning.

• Experience in Big Data Analytics like - Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop, Apache
• Good skills in RDBMS like: Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and Mongo DB
• Exposure to Agile methodologies & Continuous Integration Tools
• Entrepreneur / Intrapreneur (someone who has built technology teams ground-up, built new solutions from scratch)

You would be part of:

1. Designing/Improvement of new/existing architectures of distributed computing with subcomponents of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
2. Working/Researching with industrial state of the art sensor systems and modules, and developing drivers (HAL or wrapper) and applications around their usage.
3. Design and implementation of communication protocols between different subcomponents of UAS for distributed computing.
4. Writing Applications and Drivers from the scratch for (embedded)linux based systems.
5. Scripting and automations around work flows of UAS usage.
6. Working with existing sophisticated software stacks of subcomponents of UASs.
7. Working closely with electronics, design and systems teams for architecture development and deployment.
8. Working closely with Flight Controller engineers to do collaborative development of UAVs.

We expect you to be:

1. Experienced in hands-on development of complex embedded systems involving multiple microcontrollers or SoCs.
2. Very good in analytical abilities to be able to do core research and development activities.
3. Able to write low level drivers (wrapper or core) from the scratch.
4. Very comfortable reading and understanding datasheets and reference manuals of microcontrollers, peripherals, sensors etc.
5. Able to understand existing complex embedded software stack written in C/C++.
6. Solid in C.
7. Good in C++.
8. Comfortable with using hardware debuggers.
9. Having Hands-On experience with RTOS concepts like scheduling, threads synchronicity , race conditions etc.
