Job Title: Sr. Automation Tester

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks, as well as executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain automation frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.

2. Create and execute automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or C#.

3. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI to verify the functionality and performance of application programming interfaces.

4. Utilize your understanding of database technologies and SQL to perform database testing and validate data integrity.

5. Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner to assess system scalability, responsiveness, and resource usage.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation testing into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

7. Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and frameworks, identifying and resolving issues to ensure reliable test execution.

8. Apply security testing principles and use tools like OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite to identify vulnerabilities and security flaws.

9. Utilize testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit,

and Cucumber to automate various types of tests.

10. Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test execution activities.

11. Document test results, track defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks for software testing.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a team.

5. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead and manage a testing team.

6. Experience in creating test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on project requirements.

7. Ability to assign work, provide guidance to team members, and crosscheck their work for quality assurance, code reviews.

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, Elastic Cache, etc)
• Well versed with maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc)
• Experience in setting CI/CD pipelines from scratch
• Knowledge of setting up and securing networks (VPN, Intranet, VPC, Peering, etc)
• Understanding of common security issues

Primary Skills: Database Systems (SQL), Python Flask/Fast API/Django frameworks specifically
Requirements:

• Highly proficient in fundamentals of Python web development frameworks like Flask, Django and Fast API
• Demonstrated experience in developing APIs using Python frameworks
• Should have deep knowledge in PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server and other SQL based Databases

• Masters certification in CT-P101, P102, P103
• Masters certification in Cramer control, Extron, AMX
• In-depth knowledge of BiAmp, Boss, Crestron and BSS Programming
• In-depth knowledge of VC Integration
• Understanding of AMX/CRESTRON programming cause/effect impact on overall audiovisual systems.
• Extensive knowledge of RS232/422/485 and IP-based control protocol products.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment.
• 8+ years of programming experience in AMX/CRESTRON control system source code and touch panel interface with deep working knowledge of Biamp, Lutron, Extrom, Plasmas and Projectors, AMX/Crestron, and others.
• CTS and other industry certifications will be an add-on.
