Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Implement and manage Prisma ORM for database operations.

- Deploy and manage backend services using Azure Function Apps and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver high-quality web applications.
- Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills:
- Expertise in Python backend development with strong experience in FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL databases and ORM tools (preferably Prisma)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure Function Apps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to align sales efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business.
Track sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate regular reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Represent Upcred.ai at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
Requirements:
Proven track record of success in sales, with at least X years of experience in a B2B sales role within the financial technology or software industry.
Deep understanding of the financial technology industry, particularly in credit assessment and lending solutions.
Strong network of contacts within the financial industry, including banks, credit unions, and lending institutions in the USA.
Experience in managing and leading a sales team, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
- 2+ years of practical experience in Native Android Development
- 2+ years of experience using Kotlin/Java
- Experience developing highly performant code and view layouts and the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks
- Designing applications with latest frameworks and architecture such as MVVM, etc.

What is the role?
The role will be focused on the front end of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and generating a sales pipeline. This will be a hands-on position in a start-up environment, so we are looking for a motivated self-starter.
This role is for the US market with shift start time at 5 PM IST.
