Requirement • At least 5+ years of web development experience with expertise in Magento1 and 2 • Preferably certified as Magento Developer. • Expert knowledge of Magento including coding, optimization, design, and integration with 3rd party tools. • Must have experience in Magento plug-ins/extensions development. • Must have experience of integrating custom or 3rd party REST APIs. • In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS 3.0, JavaScript / jQuery. • Good understanding or work experience in MySQL including the use of efficient SQL commands. • Strong written and verbal communication in English. • Ability to understand client briefs and actively contribute to the brainstorming and idealization process. • Strong organizational skills, structured thinking, and development methodology. • Open to travel abroad depending upon project`s requirement. • Knowledge of insurance domain will be a plus point but not a mandatory requirement. Responsibilities • Provide direction and guidance on technical aspects of projects. • Meet project deadlines by understanding and analyzing requirements, designing, developing and testing solutions. • Provide status reports and escalate issues as appropriate to the relevant project stakeholders. • Contribute to technical solutions and requirements definition. • Solve complex problems by contributing to the analysis and development of technical solutions. • A fair understanding of the fundamental’s concepts of Magento, PHP, and Zend. • Work on Magento integration with external systems, viz CMS/ CRM/ ERP/ Payment/ Shipping etc. • Can understand the goals and create strategies for each project. • Analyze, debug, and test code. • Write well- engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards. • Participate in project deployment planning.
