About MotionGility

MotionGility is building India's first AI-powered SaaS platform that automates explainer video production for SaaS/AI companies. We combine a Full AI tools stack into a single pipeline that takes a client's product brief and delivers a complete explainer video — script, illustrations, voiceover, and animation — in under a few minutes. We have 11 years of agency experience producing 500+ SaaS explainer videos and we are now building the platform that does this at scale, with AI.

This is an early-stage product role. You will be the first full-time developer on the team, working directly with the founders

Position: Full Stack Developer

Location: Indore (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the client-facing SaaS platform using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase.
• Develop project dashboards, approval workflows, and video delivery interfaces.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Integrate payment gateways and third-party AI APIs.
• Build real-time project tracking and notification systems.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and responsive design.
• Collaborate directly with founders on product development and technical decisions.

Tech Stack

Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS

Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Storage, Realtime, Edge Functions)

Payments: Razorpay

Automation: n8n Cloud

Deployment: Vercel / Netlify

AI Integrations: OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Recraft V3, Runway Gen-3, GPT Images, Nano Banana, Higgsfield, and related AI APIs

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience building and shipping React applications.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and modern frontend development.
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, or Supabase databases.
• Experience integrating at least one payment gateway in a production project.
• Ability to showcase at least one live deployed product built personally.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Next.js (App Router and API Routes).
• Hands-on experience with Supabase Auth, RLS policies, and Realtime features.
• Prior experience in a startup or early-stage SaaS environment.
• Strong product thinking and problem-solving mindset.

• As a lead engineer, you will be expected to execute and deliver large and complex projects end-to-end, with or without the involvement of other team members.
• Participate in code reviews, app architecture, and design discussions.
• Ensuring timely delivery of all product deliverables.
• Be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting. 
• Mentoring junior developers and set best practices for coding, reviews, etc.
• Ensuring performance and scalability in all new product features being developed. 

• Overall of 5+ years of expertise in at least one dynamic programming language like Python and one MVC web framework, preferably Django.
• Experience in at least one frontend framework, preferably React.js
• Expertise in database modeling, preferably relational DB, spotting DB bottlenecks, and writing optimized DB queries.
• Expertise in all common AWS cloud technologies, knowledge of CI/CD tools, and workflows.

• Drive the architecture and design of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services using object-oriented design, distributed programming, Java/Node/ Python, .Net.
• Hands on experience in delivering high quality software products.
• Gather business and functional requirements from external and/or internal customers and end-users, and translate requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well between a ranges of complex systems.
• Serve as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
• Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance and scalability.
• Manage resources on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals.

Your Tasks:

• Participate in all aspect of operation and application support.
• Work primarily in Java-on-Java Spring and web frameworks like Bootstrap and Vue.js.
• Engage and collaborate across time zones with different front-end and back-end developers.
• Working closely with your teammates on knowledge sharing and experience build-up.
• Drive development best practices with your teammates to deliver high quality solutions. 

  Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering with strong communication skills.
• 4+ years of experience building large-scale software applications or web applications
• Strong knowledge of Full-Stack development with Java Spring Framework and established web frameworks Bootstrap, Vue.js, React or AngularJS.
• Experience of different data stores and search engine solutions like Apache Solr or Elasticsearch and designing and implementing API web services (RESTful and SOAP-based)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment whiles providing operational support capability.

• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices

• Expert experience leveraging container based technologies
• Multiple years of experience delivery solutions through an Agile delivery methodology
• Experience with bash shell scripts, LINUX utilities & UNIX Commands
