Senior Software Engineer.

• A degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven experience in developing applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data pipelines.
• Ability to build full-stack applications using JavaScript; experience with modern frameworks like React and Next.js is highly desirable.
• A pragmatic and self-starting individual, capable of executing tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
• Experience developing modern frontend applications, with specific expertise in using Web Components.
• Knowledge of simulation principles and discrete optimisation techniques.
• Relevant professional certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or cloud platforms are a plus.

Experience

• Proven track record building AI (e.g. LLM-powered solutions, Agent-Based Applications), data science, or numerical computing projects end-to-end—from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance.
• Extensive hands-on experience (4+ years) with core technologies, including:
• Advanced Python, utilising libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and frameworks for multiprocessing and asynchronous programming.
• Relational database management systems.
• Development and deployment within Linux environments.
• Collaborative development workflows using Git.

Description:

• Building highly scalable services end-to-end with frontend to handle terabytes of data.

• Finding innovative ideas to solve highly complex engineering problems or best UI/UX experience.

• Own, execute and deliver products/features end-to-end from planning to design to development to deployment

• Be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting

• Proactively involved in code reviews, architecture, and design discussions

• Be the mentor to junior engineers or Interns for their deliverables to succeed

• Maintain engineering standards and best practices for coding, code reviews, releases

Required skills:

• 1 to 3 years of expertise in full stack software development with one or more of the general programming languages (e.g., Frontend- Angular, React, TypeScript, Backend- Python, java, C/C++, Go etc.). Experience in Angular with python is recommended.

• Deep understanding of how to build an application with easy integration of RESTful APIs along with good sense of UI designs.

• Knowledge of a how a frontend and backend framework like Angular or Django or similar with ORM or multi-tier, multi-DB-based data-heavy web application development will help your profile stand out.

• Proficiency in (S)CSS, HTML5, Javascript and writing cross-browser compatible code along with CSS framework like Bootstrap.

• Good understanding of RxJS observables and/or Promises, chart libraries like ChartJS or Highcharts.

• Good understanding of bundling modules (Webpack or gulp)

• knowledge of SQL queries & DB like PostgreSQL(must) or MySQL. Working knowledge of NoSQL DBs (Mongo, Redis, etc.) is a plus.

• Understands a programming language's limitation to exploit the language behavior to the fullest potential.

• Understanding of accessibility and security compliances

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non- technical audiences with ease

• Diversity in skills like version control tools, CI/CD, cloud basics, good debugging skills, and test-driven development will help your profile stand out.

Company background

Lithion Power operates an IoT-enabled, data-driven Intelligent Energy platform (IEP) for Electric Vehicles (EVs) - this includes smart charging & swapping infrastructure along with software that enables you to track&control assets in real-time and facilitate optimal energy utilization for Electric Vehicles.

We are working with EV OEMs, battery manufacturers, fleet operators, asset managers & other entities in the EV ecosystem to make an EV-only India, a reality by 2030!

Key Expectations

• Design, develop and maintain efficient, reusable, flexible, scalable, robust and reliable Angular7/8/9 and Node.js code with proper documentation (like test cases).
• Should possess a good knowledge of HTML/CSS& technology architecture.
• Integration with cloud-based data storage using MongoDB, Redis.
• Integration of user-facing elements created by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Identify bottlenecks/bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
• Maintain code quality, proper organization, and adequate automation for periodic tasks.

Qualifications required / Key eligibility criteria

• 2-4 years as a full-stack developer (preferably in a Product company).
• Hands-on experience in planning, developing, implementing and maintaining large-scale, data-intensive, real-time solutions.
• BE/B.Tech in CSE/IT/Software OR MCA/ME/M.Tech (preferred).
• Experience with embedded systems & driving automation projects is a plus.
