Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Node.js / Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Nest.js, relational and NoSQL databases, and AWS cloud services.

You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, high-performance, and reliable backend solutions.

Mandatory Skills : Node.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS, REST API development, strong backend fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js & Nest.js

• Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services

• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval

• Develop cloud-ready applications and deploy them on AWS

• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

• Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 4+ years of experience in Backend / Node.js development

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Nest.js

• Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL

• Good understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)

• Experience building RESTful APIs

• Understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, and best practices

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Good-to-Have Skills :

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to message queues or event-driven systems

• Basic understanding of frontend-backend integration

Skills & Experience Required:

· 5+ years or more of software development experience

· 4+ years or more of experience in designing and developing Web API and Micro services

· C#, .Net core, AWS, Understanding High-Level Design and Low-level Design, Unit Testing.

· Solid .Net Developer .NET Core, C# (FW 6.0 and above)

· Hands-On experience in WebAPI, cloud provider (AWS, / Azure), Restful services, high volume data processing and working experience in MSSQL/ MySQL / Postgres.

· Strong Programming and analytical Skills

· SOA and microservices knowledge

· Knowledge in software design patterns and development methodologies

· Strong Communication Skills

· Kafka and Event hub hands on experience - Nice to Have

· Have exposure to AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS experience.

· Working knowledge on testing framework using NUnit / Xunit, Typescript, Object Oriented Programming.

· Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software at scale.

· Deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Azure Devops, Github actions etc.

· Deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for generating revenue through the sale of sponsorship packages for conferences by targeting various companies, organizations and associations.
• Strategic research to understand the relevant market and business challenges aligned with the subject area of each event and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference.
• Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools to meet and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference.
• Engaging with clients on the phone and developing lasting relationships.
• Working with the marketing department to convert inbound sales enquiries into leads.
• Oversight of the full sales cycle of each event, managing baseline business metrics and growth targets.
• Attend daily/weekly sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required.
• Achieving monthly and overall revenue targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B Business Development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in market research and lead generation.
• Experience in a revenue generation role is a bonus.
