Sociometrik is a geospatial data intelligence start-up based out of New Delhi, India - founded in 2019 with the mission of redefining data-backed executive decision making. We measure and quantify physical earth, built structures and human activity using multi-channel data sources like satellite imagery, smartphone mobility, web records and administrative data to power alternative data-based decision support systems for our clients.

• Write effective, scalable and reusable code
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions
• Collaborate with Product Owner to identify optimal ways to implement new features & product enhancements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Create UI mock-ups and transform them into quality product features consistent with the Product Owner’s vision.

• Minimum 2  year of work experience as a frontend developer
• Minimum 2 year experience in React.JS.
• Must have Experience working in a Typescript codebase
• Experience with Leaflet.JS, Google Maps API, or Geospatial projects are a "Nice to Have"
• Exposure to deck.gl is “Good to Have”.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Must have Experience collaborating in a team environment

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build an advanced e-commerce admin dashboard application for our platform.
•  Proven working experience in React JS app development and experience with Web packs and integration with NodeJS.
•  Good understanding of Hooks and Redux State Management tools.
•  Understanding of React Design principles and architecture patterns.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
•  Work with outside data sources and APIs like the one of Unicommerce.
•  Create Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new maximizegies to maximize development efficiency.
• Translate designs high-quality into high quality code.
•  Have a good understanding of CI/CD tools (any).
•  Robust knowledge of popular databases like MongoDB, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, Redis etc;
•  Knowledge about AWS Amplify is super plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field
• Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS
•  Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm
•  Familiarity with common programming tools such as Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools
•  An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle

1. Hands on Expert in UI/Front End Engineering/Development specifically React,
2. Redux, NodeJs who can code, design and own front end development and code.
3. Experience in React v16, Reach Redux, React Fibre and JavaScript advance (ES6+),
4. Experience in Advance State Management [Example: Redux, Mobx, RxJs, GraphQL etc]
5. Good experience on UI framework like Angular JS/ Vue JS/ Ext JS/jQuery/ React JS or equivalent SPA framework
6. Experience in HTML5, Javascript CSS3, ExpressJs, GraphQL
7. Strong understanding of Rest APIs, Web Sockets, Service Workers, HTTP/S Protocol, Web Security and Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD, Web Packaging and Optimization, UX and Styling.
8. Expertise in Advance Java-Scripts
9. Knowledge and experience with Data Structure and Design methodologies.
10. Problem solving skill
11. Good experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
12. Good written and verbal communication skills.
