Hiring: Full-Stack Developer (1–3 yrs) — Performance Marketing Tech | Panchkula (Hybrid)
Hey, I run Chevron Media. We're a small, profitable performance marketing team in Panchkula running lead generation campaigns at scale across Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Newsbreak — mostly for the US market.
We're looking for our first tech hire. Whoever takes this role gets to build the foundation. Not maintain someone else's code. Not fix legacy bugs. Build.
Why this is a rare role for someone 1–3 years in :-
Most developers at your stage spend a year doing tickets on a backlog before anyone trusts them with real work. Here, you walk in on day one and start building things the entire company will use the next morning.
You'll work directly with my co-founder and me. No managers in between. No politics. Your code goes live, your decisions matter, and you'll see the business impact within a week — not a quarter.
You'll also learn an industry most developers don't know exists. Performance marketing is one of the few fields where good tech people make outsized money — because every dashboard, automation, and launcher you build multiplies revenue directly. The developers who understand this space well are paid in a different league than typical web devs. You'll get that knowledge here, working hands-on.
What you'll actually build
In order of priority:
- A central dashboard that pulls live data from the Facebook Ads API and RedTrack API. Spend, revenue, profit, CPC, CTR, CPM, ROAS — by campaign, ad, and ad account, with time filters. This is your first project, and it ships in your first 4–6 weeks.
- A bulk launcher built on the Meta Marketing API. Our buyers sometimes launch 20 campaigns with 50 ad sets each. Today it's manual and brutal. You'll make it not.
- Automations and custom rules engines — auto-pause rules, daily reports, creative pipelines, anything we can take off humans. This work never ends. There's always something worth automating.
- Be the tech voice in the room. When we ask, "Can we do X with API Y?" you tell us what's possible. You're not just executing — you're shaping what gets built.
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of full-stack development experience (personal projects count if they're real)
- Solid in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or both
- Comfortable working with REST APIs — bonus if you've ever touched an ad platform API
- Have built and deployed at least one project end-to-end that real people could use
- Can read API documentation and figure things out without hand-holding
Nice to have
- Next.js, React, or Supabase experience
- Worked with Facebook Marketing API or Google Ads API
- Any exposure to performance marketing or affiliate marketing
- Built a dashboard before — even a personal project counts
Location
Hybrid in Panchkula. Some days in office, some days remote — we'll figure out the rhythm together.
Salary
₹60,000 – ₹90,000/month, based on what you've actually built.
How to apply
Send a message with:
- A link to one thing you've built. GitHub, live URL, anything. I care more about what you've shipped than what's on your CV.
- One line on why this role interests you.
- Include the word "launcher" in your message so I know you actually read this.
If you don't have a link to something you've built yet, this role isn't right for you today. Spend a weekend building a small thing, then come back. Said with respect, this role is for people who already build, not people who plan to start.
Looking forward to meeting you.
