Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full Stack/ Frontend Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you’ll work closely with back-end developers and UX/UI designers to deliver exceptional web applications for the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and maintain interactive, responsive, and user-friendly front-end applications using Java, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.

● Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end functionality with back-end services.

● Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure user interfaces are visually appealing, functional, and consistent.

● Participate in code reviews and uphold high-quality coding standards. ● Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and optimize performance. ● Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end development.

Required Skills & Experience

● 4+ years of experience in Java-based front-end development.

● Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. ● Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, Thymeleaf, Velocity, jQuery, and Java.

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and front-end integration practices.

● Experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills. Preferred Skills

● Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, jQuery plugins, DataTables, etc.).

● Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

● Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

● Prior experience in higher education technology or education-related software.

Note: Experience with Thymeleaf and Velocity is good to have. Tapestry can be ignored as it is legacy. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain applications using ASP.NET (Core/MVC) and C#.
2. Build responsive and dynamic front-end components using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
3. Develop and consume RESTful APIs for application integration.
4. Work with MySQL (and optionally MSSQL) for database design, optimization, and queries.
5. Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through best practices and design patterns. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
6. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for existing applications.
7. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
8. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive design principles.
• Good knowledge of REST API development and integration.
• Strong experience with MySQL (tables, queries, stored procedures, indexing).
• Familiarity with Entity Framework / Dapper.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.

The Role Expectation

You Have

• A sound knowledge of Python, hands-on experience in using Django/Flask etc., design patterns and application design

• A good understanding of message queues mechanisms like Redis/RabitMQ (or similar)
• Knowledge of python web crawling frameworks like Scrapy & Frontera
• Hands on experience with CI/CD

Good to Have

• Strong Linux skills, knowledge of building large scale, multi-threaded applications and experience in designing and building RESTful web services,

A full-stack developer handles both: Front-end and Back-end. need to build web pages, websites, create UI, make the website simple and attractive.

Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) along with CSS3 and HTML5. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. 

React Native, MongoDB, Node JS Knowledge is a plus.    

Responsibilities

1. Design the overall architecture of the web application.
