Full Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js - SaaS Startup

Required Skills/Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise and/or consumer-facing applications using technologies and frameworks like JavaScript, Node.js (Javascript), ReactJS, Angular, SCSS, CSS, React Native
• 3+ years experience in leading teams (guide, design, track), taking responsibilities to deliver as per the agreed-upon schedules
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience working in Linux OS
• Very good debugging and problem resolution experience
• Experience developing responsive web applications
• Very good communication (verbal and written) to interact with our customers
• Ability and interest to learn alternative technologies based on need
• Experienced in product development lifecycle (prototyping, hardening, testing etc.)

Additional Skills/Experience:

• Working experience with Python and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra
• Eagerness to participate in product functional and user experience designs
• Experience in AI, ML, NLP, and Predictive Analytics domains
• Familiarity with i18n, latest trends in UI and UX designs
• Experience with implementation of payment gateways applicable in different countries

Storytelling platforms have not evolved with smartphones, as we still consume stories being passive observers. At Raidenbit, we are building http://onelink.to/kahaniboxapp">KahaniBox - The Netflix for interactive fiction in Indian languages. We create stories with immersive roleplay experiences that allow the audience to control how the stories unfold and end. And while doing that, we are solving some fascinating problems around decoding human psychology and understanding our audience’s content tastes using engineering and data science.

We are looking for experienced Full Stack Developers - the ones who would help us in making KahaniBox the largest interactive fiction platform globally. You would be maintaining/fixing/improving our existing and new front-end and back-end solutions while working 100% remotely in flexible timings.

Required at least 2+ years of experience in -

• HTML/CSS
• JavaScript (ES6)
• Vue.js (or an equivalent frontend framework, e.g. React/Angular)
• Node.js
• Google Cloud Platform (or any other e.g. AWS/Azure, etc).

Ideal candidate will also be experienced in

• BAAS (Firebase or equivalent) and good understanding of serverless architectures.
• RESTFul API Consumption and Development.
• Testing (unit and integration).
• Comfortable with CI, continuous deployment, Git, and project management tools.
• Experience setting up and data mining Analytics databases.

Bonus points if you have experience with TypeScript.

Develop and maintain application documentation and coding standards that are clear, accurate and detailed. Troubleshoot .NET issues and provide debugging support as needed. Maintain communication with key players on development process and communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences. Provide mentorship and support to other employees

·       Expert on C# (.Net Core & Asp.NET MVC) and MongoDB

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design and implement front-end & back-end services with high reliability and scalability
2. Contribute to system architecture and database design
3. Do high-level design with guidance and break down a complex system into simpler modules that can be reused
4. Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
5. Learn about new technologies and incorporate them

What Are We Looking For?

1. Hands-on experience with Javascript frameworks like ReactJS / ExpressJS / NodeJS. Databases like MySQL / MongoDB and REST API is a must-have skill.
2. Proficient in object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, and huge passion and ability to design intuitive modules.
3. Experience building at least one application from scratch
4. Interest in learning new languages/frameworks as needed.
5. Worked in a startup environment.
6. A growth mindset and passionate about building things from the ground up.

Job Profile

A NodeJs developer will be required to deploy and maintain network applications. Manage the exchange of data between servers and users, develop back-end components, and connect applications with other web services. Will also act as a support front-end developer by integrating web-based applications in Angular. With good hand's on experience in Rational Database i.e. MySQL & PostgreSQL.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3+ years experience on Node JS
• Mandatory experience of 2 years in Angular 2 & above
• Experience on Bootstrap or any other JS Framework
• Very good knowledge of rational databases MySQL & PostgreSQL
• Good Knowledge of MongoDB.
• Excellent on web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX jQuery
• Experience in common third-party APIs
• Strong debugging skills
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude

Excellent English writing and speaking skills are a must
