Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain the application.

Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.

Participate in system and application architecture discussions.

Create technical designs and specifications for new features or enhancements.

Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.

Debug and resolve technical issues and software defects.

Identify and fix vulnerabilities to ensure application integrity.

Working with the product owner to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.

Collaborating with DevOps teams for deployment and scaling.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a skilled Full-stack developer. Experience in Insurance domain is appreciated.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong experience with Spring Boot 3, Java 17 or newer and Maven.

Must have:
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in designing & developing and architecting systems/software for large business environments (Java, J2EE).
• Strong design and coding skills in Enterprise Java, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, REST web services, JMS (ActiveMQ), XML, JSON.
• Must have good experience in Unix/Oracle/SQL.
• Experience in any communication framework (MQ) is an added advantage.
• Experience in Agile Development, Scrum, and Iterative approaches
• Participate in requirement gathering JAD sessions and support documentation
• Work with Product Management to resolve or raise queries and get query resolution on areas which are unclear, ambiguous and which need more information

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java platform and technologies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS and Angular.
• Experience with enterprise level application design and development is a must.
• Expert level knowledge in Java Spring framework, JHipster, PostgreSQL, HTML5, Angular, CSS
• Must have previously worked in an environment using version control systems such as Bitbucket.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS such as Postgres and MySQL. Should be proficient in SQL and assessing performance of queries. Some ability to monitor and maintain the database is needed.
• Experience with AWS RDS is MUST.
• Minimum 3 years of experience deploying Java applications on the AWS cloud.
• Ability to handle front-end development (Angular JS) is a MUST.
• Experience working with Monday, Atlassian project management tools (JIRA/Bitbucket/Confluence) or similar is a must.

Required skills

1. 5+ years of experience in developing and testing software using Java J2EE based application
2. Experience in managing team technically.
3. 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. 
4. 2+ years of experience in developing application using Spring (Spring Core, Spring ORM and Spring Batch), Hibernate.
5. 2+ years of experience in web technologies using Spring MVC, jQuery.
