Frontend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Frontend Developer Intern who is passionate about building modern, scalable, and high-performance interfaces. You will work on production-grade applications built with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, and collaborate directly with senior engineers to deliver high-quality UI components and user experiences.

This internship will give you hands-on exposure to real engineering workflows, version control, code reviews, and agile development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and accessible UI components using Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, HTML, and CSS.
• Work with TypeScript to ensure readable, safe, and maintainable code.
• Integrate APIs and handle client-side state management.
• Collaborate with backend and design teams to implement end-to-end features.
• Maintain component-level consistency, performance, and reusability.
• Write clean, modular code following best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to improving UI/UX through thoughtful design and user-centric development.
• Work with MongoDB when required for basic CRUD operations or prototype integrations.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of React.js fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, API routes).
• Solid knowledge of Tailwind CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling practices.
• Basic understanding of TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility.

Good to Have

• Certifications in Tailwind CSS, CSS, or Next.js (highly preferred).
• Knowledge of component libraries, animations, or design systems.
• Understanding of MongoDB basics.
• Exposure to UI/UX tools (Figma, Adobe XD) is a plus.

Eligibility

• Students currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates may also apply.
• Ability to dedicate full-time hours during the internship period.

What are we looking for:

1. We are looking for someone that has an eye for design, solid experience in ReactJS, are value-driven and product-oriented. You will own all phases of user interface development.
2. From architecture and design to implementation and customer engagement. This role isn’t just about coding; it's about owning features end-to-end, translating them from concepts to user-centric products
3. Each engineer owns the feature they are building and is responsible for turning it into reality, and we will need your front-end expertise to find solutions to problems and challenges and deliver on roadmap objectives.
4. 4+ years of experience in web frontend technology, including React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS.
5. Significant experience with JavaScript frameworks and client-side state management, particularly React.js and Redux.
6. Knowledge of 2D visualization libraries like D3 and 3D visualization tools such as Three.js and WebGL is a plus.
7. Expertise in developing solutions for complex problems and integrations, with a strong product sense to balance technical and product requirements.
8. Skilled in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including design, product, tech, learning experience & marketing.
9. Independent and capable of producing 'production ready' code with minimal guidance.
10. Proficient in performance optimization and CDN caching strategies.
11. Nice to have: Full stack experience working in backend.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

• Strong in Vue.js or React.js, HTML, HTML5, DOM(Document Object Model) concepts
