About the role

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for a senior frontend engineer to help us scale Plum, and spearhead the frontend of our product.

You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product. You'll be in charge of reviewing the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides. You would analyze and build UI Pattern Libraries (Design Systems, UI Kits, etc.)

• Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.
• Run test-harness to guarantee the structure, integrity, and design of the application.
• Solve complex CSS, HTML, and User Interface compatibility issues across browsers.
• Optimize JavaScript implementations to ensure that code remains performant.
• Implement front-end development workflows: build systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.
• Ability to push things over the line, ship awesome features, and delight customers.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Comfortable with Responsive Web Design and Development and weave out beautiful code in React.
• Strong product and design sensibilities and has an obsessive attention to detail.
• Write testable, maintainable code that's easy to understand.
• Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks.
• Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.

Job description:- 

• Strong experience of Angular 2+ and above along with other technologies like HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AJAX with good knowledge of ECMA Scripts.
• Strong knowledge of JS Fundamentals.
• Design & development of Angular applications as per desired specifications, along with experience in frameworks/libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap, Typescript etc.
• Architecture design, development, testing and maintenance of Web Apps, Implementation based on Angular Application MVC Patterns.
• Own end to end product modules/features (from the requirement to going live)- Design & code review, troubleshoot & help team members on issues.
• Gather requirements by interacting directly with the end-users.
• Research on open source framework/technology required for developing the feature/application.

• Build fast and efficient next-generation web applications
• Implement new features and optimize existing ones
• Collaborate with Designers to iterate on the design
• Work closely with Backend Engineers to integrate APIs and other services
•  Find and address performance issues
• Identify and communicate front-end best practices
• Customer-focused, whether responding to support queries or developing new features and functionality.
• Able to provide constructive feedback and effectively review code, guiding other UI engineers in the right direction

• 3+ years of experience in UI/frontend development.
• Hands-on experience using React as a front-end development framework.
• Sound knowledge of front-end development languages, tools and methodologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and associated technologies and toolsets (e.g. jQuery, Sass)
• Able to write front-end code that is cross-browser and cross-device friendly, through responsive or adaptive techniques is essential.
• Working knowledge of AWS for product development and deployment is preferred
• Experience using Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) systems for development and deployment.
• Proven knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).

IRIS Business Services Ltd is looking for a Senior Front-end Angular Developer who is passionate about design and programming to work in an exciting space of tax technology. Responsibilities include implementing visual elements and their behaviours with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years working in front-end web development
• Front end technologies: Angular.js (1.x), Angular (4-12), HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap
• Excellent Javascript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6
• Solid understanding and development experience in Angular
• Experience consuming REST APIs

Responsibilities:

• Implementing the front-end logic that defines the behavior of the visual elements of a web application.
• Actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, often times starting with rapid prototypes early in the design phase
• Writing clean, production-ready code, which will be integrated with the backend/APIs
• Will be supported by back-end web developers, who are responsible for server-side application logic
• Will be supported by front end designer who specialize in markup and styling

• Engineering experience with a proven track record of building high performance consumer web applications or services

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

• Maintain and write clean code to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

• At least 4+ years experience in Angular.js / React.Js
• 4+ years of strong programming experience in UI/Web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• 2+ years of strong programming experience in Unit Test Code Coverage using Jasmine / Karma.
• Strong in OOAD, design concepts & software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong inclination towards delivering quality software.
• Should be a good team player. Should have experience working in Agile Scrum Teams.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong experience in defining & implementing software quality improvement measures: CI/CD setup, Jasmine, Karma Unit Testing
• Experience in working with tools like TFS, GIT.
• Should have strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience in UX will be good to have.
