We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Frontend Engineer to join our growing engineering team to help build and maintain HappyFox’s product offerings. 

 

What you can expect as a Technical Lead at HappyFox:

• You will consistently ship features and improvements and lead a team of engineers working on our product roadmap.
• You will oversee software architecture, Git workflows, and CI/CD processes and perform code reviews to ensure exceptional code quality.

• You will improve the development experience and the quality of the codebase. 
• You will define our internal standards for coding style, maintainability, and best practices for a large-scale web application.

You should apply if:

• You have 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role designing and building single-page web applications.
• You have 8+ years of relevant professional experience in building web applications with javascript frameworks like Ember.js or React.js.

What you need to have:

UI Developer :

Experience in developing Web Applications/websites using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap4 or above is essential

Experience in CSS preprocessors like Less, Sass

Experience in developing Responsive and Mobile First design products/websites using wireframes & mock-ups is essential

Experience in tailwind CSS is a must (config, create custom util function)

Experience in the latest design principles and animations is essential

Experience in Photoshop / Sketch tools and collaborative products like Invision / Figma is desirable

A fair understanding of JavaScript programming / Jquery is essential

Experience in working with React

Good knowledge of web standards and SEO principles is desirable

• Developing eCommerce sites on Shopify platform
• Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify
• Extending Shopify’s functionalities to next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc
• Integrating third-party and platform supported apps in the sites
• Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform

Leading the UX Engineering team at AQR you will be responsible for:
 Leading set of front-end engineers towards building core infrastructure required for UI development across the firm
 Working closely with the business in Bangalore and Greenwich, CT, USA on defining new internal and external application interfaces
 Developing the technology strategy for UI development for the firm
 Building re-usable web libraries and user-facing components that support large, complex web applications at the firm.

 Institutionalizing UI development process compatible to work with product owners, users, backend engineers and operations.

What You’ll Bring
 Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field of engineering
 Over 14+ years of working experience in leading teams and delivering software applications
 Strong experience using modern browser frameworks like Angular, or React or Vue
 In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and other browser technologies including HTML5 and CSS3.
 Working experience with various front end libraries and components including Highchart, d3, ag-grid etc.,.
 Strong understanding of user experience design and data visualization techniques
