Role Description
As a Frontend Engineer you'll take charge of our dashboard and frontend architecture, working directly with the CTO to scale our platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead front-end web development for Nudge, including the main Dashboard, Chrome Extension, and Web SDK.
- Collaborate closely with the product and design teams to implement intuitive, high-performance user interfaces.
- Ensure code quality by implementing industry best practices, scalable architecture, and maintainable coding standards.
- Plan and architect features proactively, while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing product requirements.
- Optimize application performance through effective network optimization, caching strategies, and efficient state management.
- Demonstrate a strong command of TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Redux Toolkit, React Query, and browser storage mechanisms (localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies).
What We’re Looking For
- Expertise in React, Next.js, JavaScript, and Redux Toolkit.
- Strong fundamentals in core JavaScript and deep understanding of browser internals.
- Experience with web storage mechanisms (local/session storage).
- Hands-on experience building and scaling SaaS dashboards and SDKs.
- Demonstrated ownership - you've built things end-to-end in a startup environment.
- Bonus: Published open-source packages on NPM or similar.
Good to Have
- Integrate and leverage LLM capabilities within our products; familiarity with LangChain and Vercel AI SDK is highly desirable.

What will you do?
You will be our go-to person when it comes to ensuring that Classplus’ digital architecture functions smoothly. Though not a traditional customer-facing role, your work will be reflective of our brand quality as a whole.
With so much riding on your shoulders, we’ll need you to: -
• Guide the team in the implementation of visual elements from computer users' vantage points within a web application and translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Design and implement low-latency, highly available and performing applications that scale for millions of users, and assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end
• Develop application code and unit test in the Javascript technologies for the application development center
• Work with Test-Driven development, help define architectures and design patterns, and actively participate in PR reviews on GitHub

• Bring your A-game: Have knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS, NextJS, VueJS, and experience with rendering techniques and writing high performing code

JavaAbout the role of Software Developer – Frontend (UI)
The software developer position is uniquely tailored for experienced candidates in Front-end (UI) development and have their undergraduate degree from tier 1 T-Schools in India. In this role, you will work across several challenging intelligent automation projects from any of our practices – FSI, Consumer, Enterprise, or Supply Chain Operations. Most of our projects from our Intelligent Automation practice are embedded analytics implementations. You will get the opportunity to embed complex machine learning, and /or Artificial Intelligence models into applications that will be used by end users. You will be working on active development of these embedded analytics from scratch, and will be exposed to the end-to-end application lifecycle management.
What are we looking for?
We expect that our UI developers are world-class problem solvers, experts in their area of work, and also excellent communicators. We look for skills around several areas including:
Functional skills:
• Should be able to convert the UI Screens from Figma /Sketch into reusable React components and screens.
• Should use best use of class naming conventions for stylesheets which are descriptive.
• Preferably usage of meta CSS languages like SaSS / Less. Designing responsive layouts should be your forte.
• Should be able to differentiate between UI states and local cache storage for API interaction.
• Should be able to appreciate the difference between Plain JavaScript and typed system like TypeScript.
Non-functional skills:
• Understand the network latency and Re-Render latency for any React based Apps.
Soft Skills:
• Communicate any dependencies with the manager on a proactive basis.
• Should be able to participate in design discussions and estimates
Strong Preference:
• Preferable from early stage startups.
