Strong geospatial capabilities—proven experience integrating and optimizing mapping solutions (e.g., Google Maps, HERE Maps) with features like routing, clustering, and overlays.

Architectural expertise in modular design, micro-frontends, SSR/SSG, PWAs, and cross-platform solutions—ideally with experience in monorepo environments and BFF patterns.

CI/CD & DevOps familiarity—strong understanding of build tools (Webpack, Vite, Metro), containerization (Docker), and deployment automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Director of Frontend Engineering with a strong focus on Web (React/Next.js) to lead the design, architecture, and execution of Snapmint’s consumer-facing platforms. This role will own web engineering at scale, while also overseeing Android frontend teams to ensure consistency, performance, and a unified user experience across platforms.

You will be responsible for building and scaling high-performance, modular frontend systems that serve millions of users, with a strong emphasis on design thinking, component reusability, and engineering excellence. This is a strategic leadership role that demands a deep understanding of web technologies, system architecture, and modern frontend design patterns, coupled with the ability to mentor teams and drive execution at speed.

• Own the frontend web strategy, architecture, and roadmap, focusing on React.js, Next.js, and scalable design systems.

✅ Requirements:

• Deep hands-on expertise in:

○ Component-driven architecture, server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG)

We are looking for a good JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. 5. Knowledge of Alerting and Monitoring tools
6. Knowledge of SPA principles
7. UI Performance: should have hands on experience of optimising page load, rendering, caching
