Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer specializing in frontend development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that enhance our customer experience. Your contributions will play a critical role in driving the success of our projects by creating dynamic, intuitive, and responsive web applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using front end tools to create seamless, user-friendly experiences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality products.

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to best practices in frontend development.

Perform code reviews, optimize application performance, and debug issues for a smooth user experience.

Stay updated on the latest frontend features and web development trends to bring innovative ideas to the team.

What will I do?

• Delivering a complete front end application
  • Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
  • Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
  • Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
  • Communicating with external web services
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides

What skills should I have?

- Must have 2+ years of experience in frontend development with an internet startup.
- Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
- Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
- Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performance visual effects and keeping the frame rate above 30fps at all times
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
- Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Design a modern highly responsive web-based user interface.

Skills and Competencies;

• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript.
• Strong working knowledge of React JS and web apps.
• Good working experience using API in UI development.
• Should be able to do responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Willingness to experiment and take complete responsibility for projects.
• Work independently and remote, with excellent follow-up, time management, and organization skills.
• Any additional knowledge of/familiarity with programming, in general, would be a great added bonus.
• Knowledge of Jira/confluence.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• A team player with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Fluent in a second language preferred, good level of verbal English required.
