Senior FrontEnd Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable web applications, a deep understanding of both front-end technologies, and experience with cloud infrastructure. As a Front-end Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a workflow management system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust and efficient applications that meet the needs of our users. Your expertise in ReactJS, MUI and API Integrations with the backend will be crucial in ensuring our system is intuitive, user-friendly, reliable and performant.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Front-End Components:

• Design, develop, and optimize user interfaces using React and ReactJS.
• Ensure a seamless and responsive user experience.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement best practices in UI/UX design. Cloud Integration:
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Utilize GCP services to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Implement cloud-based solutions for data storage, processing, and analytics. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to sharing team knowledge.
• Document development processes, coding standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Completed a master's/bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Strong experience with React, ReactJS and MUI.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
• Knowledge of front-end development tools and best practices.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

Job Role :

o Experience in Front-end web development using JavaScript jQuery,Angular, HTML5, CSS

o Responsible for handling end to end design & execution of all product web interfaces

o Develop new user-facing features & build reusable code and libraries for future use Work closely on UI/UX designs and back end engineers to implement versatile front-end solutions to web development problems

o Design, development, integration, delivery of different UI side modules of the product

o Develop and enhance modular, multilingual, cross-browser front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, etc.

o Experience in making responsive layouts

o Experience developing in Agile development processes

o Work closely with product management, customer support and SQA to continuously evolve and innovate the product.

o Involvement in the full development life cycle of projects. Working as a part of a team as well as on your own initiative

o Facilitate in the decision-making processes with team members both in terms of new system development and enhancement to current systems

o Experience of full software development life cycle and Agile Strong verbal & written skills required to interact with global teams. Highly motivated, analytical thinking individual

o Since this role involves working closely with users, the ideal candidate would have Knowledge of Relational database/SQL

• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS.
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
• Candidate must have knowledge of standards used for creating a responsive website.
• The candidate will be able to edit digital images with photoshop.

• Proven experience of at least 1 year as a Web developer.
• Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working with designers, product managers to collaboratively own the front-end layer at FalconBrick and deliver stellar end user experiences
• Building responsive and elegant mobile and desktop web UIs
• Test, debug and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle
• Architect, develop and maintain front-end libraries

Desired Candidate Profile

• You love working with JavaScript and are very familiar with JavaScript design patterns and can build fairly complex UI
• Have at least 2 years experience in development of responsive web/mobile applications using advanced JS and web technologies
• And with at least 1 year of experience building frontend UI with a framework like ReactJS
• Youre very comfortable in writing HTML and CSS and love designing beautiful webpages
• Have good communication skills, strong work ethics And are comfortable with agile, iterative development practices and code reviews

• Design and develop new user-facing features using React adhering to best coding practices and standards
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code and building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Consistently follows and promotes SDLC best practices: Coding standards, testing, code reviews, code comments, etc.
• Keeps key stakeholders informed about progress and problems; avoids surprises
• Building responsive web applications across a vast array of web-capable devices
• Design and architect technical solutions for the business problems
• Organizes and expresses ideas clearly and concisely
• Exhibits excellent teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills and helps achieve team goals.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field from a reputed institute.
• Experience of 3 - 6 years as a Frontend Engineer.
• Excellent programming skills in JavaScript
• Proficient in ReactJS
• Good Exposure to AngularJS and VueJS
• Familiarity with CSS, Restful API modern build pipelines and development tools
• Good understanding of design patterns and a strong grasp of Material Design guidelines 

  
  Preferred Skills

  • Experience in developing and deploying applications on AWS, and Firebase. Experience with popular state management, frontend, and server-side rendering libraries
  • Understanding common front-end development tools (Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.) and code versioning tools (Git and Mercurial)
  • Familiarity with Micro-frontends Architecture, Material UI, Ant Design, and GraphQL
  • Has delivered projects with end-to-end accountability
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Strong desire to learn and grow, with intelligence & adaptability while building the best-in-class systems
  • Strong flair for effective communication and collaboration - you know when to push on and when to step back
