Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Python to design, build, and optimize scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in cloud technologies, large-scale data processing, and leading the design of high-performance, reliable backend systems.

MANDATORY:

• Strong QA Leadership / Test Manager / QA Architect Profiles.
• Must have 12+ years of overall IT experience in Quality Assurance / Testing roles.
• Must have experience owning end-to-end testing strategy for product platforms, covering Manual, Automation, Performance, and Security testing
• Must have 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS preferably working in microservices-driven environments in testing

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

You’ll be the architect and guardian of quality across the company's product suite. You’ll work alongside product dev, QA, and PM teams to proactively define, advocate, and scale a best-in-class testing ethos.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define own testing strategy for G1 suite of products across ERP, POS, Zwing, Browntape, Reporting products.
• Lead end-to-end test execution across manual, automation, performance, and security domains.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks—selection, guidelines, metrics, CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, DevOps to integrate quality measures into the pipeline, from sprint backlog to release.
• Foster quality culture via QA guilds, retrospectives, cross functional workshops, knowledge sharing.
• Establish quality KPIs (e.g., defect leakage, automation coverage, test pass rates) and report to CTO and Leadership.
