About the team:
With the purpose and mission, “Creating innovative platforms which disrupt current inefficient business processes to drive efficiency and fuel growth for businesses of the future”, Bizongo Engineering team has scaled from a team of five to thirty across two locations, Mumbai and Bangalore in three years. Primarily working on Ruby on Rails Backend and ReactJS Frontend, we have also worked on ML models in Python-Flask and built in 3 customer-facing and 2 internal products.
About the role:

We are looking for Engineering Managers, who can mentor, guide and scale the team, help evolve our culture and are passionate about technology. We expect our Engineering Manager to be a great leader, multi-dimensional and have a zeal for learning as well as experimentation as we push business efficiency through our technology. Our Engineering Manager will help their team in planning and executing the project plan and always keep the stakeholders well informed.
Experience:
Total experience of 6+ years with 2+ years of Managerial experience

What would I be doing?
Actively work with Product Managers to scope out and plan projects
Be actively involved in hiring and growing our engineering team
Plan and organize sprints with a highly ambitious group of engineers
Actively work with engineers helping them break roadblocks throughout the sprints
Involved in building and reviewing Project Architecture
Actively review Code, Product and API Specifications
Develop engineers on the team and help them advance in their careers
Care about agility as much you care about scalability and availability
Build and help us evolve our culture
Teams at Bizongo are expected to be comfortable working across the stack, delivering new features and products from start to finish
Most products at Bizongo are Ruby on Rails applications with ReactJS frontends. We have PostgreSQL for most of our storage, and everything is hosted on AWS
