ElaraRise Technologies is hiring a Senior Backend / Cloud Engineer.

You'd be the first backend hire on a founding team of five, building a transaction-anchored POS and Vision AI platform for retail and food-service operators in India and East Africa.

What you'd own: the POS backend, the transaction cache, real-time updates over SignalR, and the one-way ERP export interface. Offline-first by design — sites lose connectivity regularly, and the system has to keep selling and reconcile cleanly when the line returns.

We're looking for:

✅ 2+ multi-tenant SaaS projects delivered end to end

✅ Azure (IoT / cloud) experience

✅ SaaS architecture mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• SDLC development of product features, enhancements, UAT/production issues.
• Work with development team members for development of product features.
• Client-side and server-side development.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and application.
• Write/ design product APIs and write unit test cases.
• Follow standard agile scrum practices for software development.
• Peer review, pull requests, code refactoring and managing source code per standards and ensure quality. 

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of software development experience using Microsoft .Net technology stack.
• Strong experience in .Net, .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, SQL server, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
• Experience in using unit test framework e.g., xUnit, Moq.
• Experience in Web API development.
• Experience in Agile / SCRUM development process.
• Good to have experience in Domain driven design development and Microservice architecture.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good to have knowledge and experience in ABP.IO framework, Angular 8+, PostgreSQL and AWS cloud service and CI/CD process.

Position: Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead

Work Location: Bangalore; India

Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Experience: 6 to 10 years of Experience

• Proficient in Java/J2EE , core java, full stack development experience ( Database to UX)
• Must be proficient with integration with third-party applications within the enterprise and outside the organizations (API)
• Must be good in writing highly optimized code.
• Must be good at abstracting solutions - reduce time and cost to build
• Experience with Workflow Engines like Activiti will be an advantage
• Good understanding of native Android code/interface with Android apps, if preferable
• Must be an expert in managing data at the application database level - Transaction and Reporting database design
• Must be good in coding & product development
• Experienced with monitoring and observability
• Experienced with production support and debugging (heap dumps, thread dumps etc)
• Experience in Logistics domain is desirable
• Prior startup experience is preferred

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science / BE
• Ability to handle the team of 7 to 8 members and giving guidance to the team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to respect deadlines and will to perform in an accelerated learning environment.
