What We’re Looking For

• You will collaborate with our development team to support ongoing projects, manage software releases, and ensure smooth updates to QA and production environments. This includes handling configuration updates and meeting all release requirements.
• You will work closely with your team members to enhance the company’s engineering tools, systems, procedures, and data security practices.
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
• Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• You have a working knowledge of technologies like:
• Docker, Kubernetes
• oipJenkins (alt. Bamboo, TeamCity, Travis CI, BuildMaster)
• Ansible, Terraform, Pulumi
• Python
• You have experience with GitHub Actions, Version Control, CI/CD/CT, shell scripting, and database change management
• You have working experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud providers
• You have experience with cloud security management
• You can configure assigned applications and troubleshoot most configuration issues without assistance
• You can write accurate, concise, and formatted documentation that can be reused and read by others
• You know scripting tools like bash or PowerShell

General Description:

Owns all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications.

Participates in the design and development of systems & application programs.

Functions as Senior member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices – tools, common components, and documentation.

Required Skills:

In depth experience configuring and administering EKS clusters in AWS.

In depth experience in configuring **DataDog** in AWS environments especially in **EKS**

In depth understanding of OpenTelemetry and configuration of **OpenTelemetry Collectors**

In depth knowledge of observability concepts and strong troubleshooting experience.

Experience in implementing comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions in AWS using **CloudWatch**.

Experience in **Terraform** and Infrastructure as code.

Experience in **Helm**

Strong scripting skills in Shell and/or python.

Experience with large-scale distributed systems and architecture knowledge (Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems, networking, storage) in a cloud computing or traditional IT infrastructure environment.

Must have a good understanding of cloud concepts (Storage /compute/network).

Experience in Collaborating with several cross functional teams to architect observability pipelines for various GCP services like GKE, cloud run Big Query etc.

Experience with Git and GitHub.

Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation, ADRs, and runbooks.

As a DevOps Engineer, you :

- Will work collaboratively with the engineering and customer support teams to deploy and operate our systems. 

- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.

- Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. 

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our test and production environments. 

- Take control of various mandates and change management processes to ensure compliance for various certifications (PCI and ISO 27001 in particular) 

- Monitor and optimize the usage of various cloud services. 

- Setup and enforce CI/CD processes and practices

Skills required :

- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, ELB, S3, SES, to name a few)

- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and hardening 

- Experience with automation using Ansible, Terraform or equivalent 

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools (Jenkins) 

- Experience with container related technologies (docker, lxc, rkt, docker swarm, kubernetes)

- Working understanding of code and script (Python, Perl, Ruby, Java)

- Working understanding of SQL and databases 

- Working understanding of version control system (GIT is preferred) 

- Managing IT operations, setting up best practices and tuning them from time-totime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software development and DevOps, specifically managing AWS Infrastructure such as EC2s, RDS, Elastic cache, S3, IAM, cloud trail and other services provided by AWS.
• Experience Building a multi-region highly available auto-scaling infrastructure that optimises performance and cost. plan for future infrastructure as well as Maintain & optimise existing infrastructure.
• Conceptualise, architect and build automated deployment pipelines in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins.
• Conceptualise, architect and build a containerised infrastructure using Docker, Mesosphere or similar SaaS platforms.
• Conceptualise, architect and build a secured network utilising VPCs with inputs from the security team.
• Work with developers & QA to institute a policy of Continuous Integration with Automated testing Architect, build and manage dashboards to provide visibility into delivery, production application functional and performance status.
• Work with developers to institute systems, policies and workflows which allow for rollback of deployments Triage release of applications to production environment on a daily basis.
• Interface with developers and triage SQL queries that need to be executed in production environments.
• Assist the developers and on calls for other teams with post mortem, follow up and review of issues affecting production availability.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Ansible.
• Must have written playbook to automate provisioning of AWS infrastructure as well as automation of routine maintenance tasks.
• Must have had prior experience automating deployments to production and lower environments.
• Experience with APM tools like New Relic and log management tools.
• Our entire platform is hosted on AWS, comprising of web applications, webservices, RDS, Redis and Elastic Search clusters and several other AWS resources like EC2, S3, Cloud front, Route53 and SNS.
• Essential Functions System Architecture Process Design and Implementation

• Minimum of 2 years scripting experience in Ruby/Python (Preferable) and Shell Web Application Deployment Systems Continuous Integration tools (Ansible)Establishing and enforcing Network Security Policy (AWS VPC, Security Group) & ACLs.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps (Development and Operations) professional to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs in web and mobile apps & assist Sr DevOps to manage infrastructure projects and processes. The primary objective is to provide support to Amazon Web Services hosted environment, ensure continuous availability, working closely with development teams to ensure best value for money, and effective estate management.

• Setup CI/CD Pipeline from scratch along with integration of appropriate quality gates.
• Expertise level knowledge in AWS cloud. Provision and configure infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Build and configure Kubernetes-based infrastructure, networking policies, LBs, and cluster security. Define autoscaling and cost strategies.
• Automate the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more
• Manage deployments and rollbacks of applications
• Implement monitoring and metrics with Cloud watch, Newrelic
• Troubleshoot and optimize containerized workload deployments for clients
• Automate operational tasks, and assist in the transition to service ownership models.
