Execute shell scripts for seamless automation and system management.

Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, kustomize, and kubectl.

Oversee AWS security groups, VPC configurations, and utilize Aviatrix for efficient network orchestration.

Contribute to Opentelemetry Collector for enhanced observability.

Implement microsegmentation using AWS native resources and Aviatrix for commercial routes.

Enforce policies through Open Policy Agent (OPA) integration.

Develop and maintain comprehensive runbooks for standard operating procedures.

Utilize packet tracing for network analysis and security optimization.

Apply OWASP tools and practices for robust web application security.

Integrate container vulnerability scanning tools seamlessly within CI/CD pipelines.

Define security requirements for source code repositories, binary repositories, and secrets managers in CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with software and platform engineers to infuse security principles into DevOps teams.

Regularly monitor and report project status to the management team.

Qualifications:

Proficient in shell scripting and automation.

Strong command of Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, kustomize, and kubectl.

Deep understanding of AWS security practices, VPC configurations, and Aviatrix.

Familiarity with Opentelemetry for observability and OPA for policy enforcement.

Experience in packet tracing for network analysis.

Practical application of OWASP tools and web application security.

Integration of container vulnerability scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines.

Proven ability to define security requirements for source code repositories, binary repositories, and secrets managers in CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration expertise with DevOps teams for security integration.

Regular monitoring and reporting capabilities.

Site Reliability Engineering experience.

Hands-on proficiency with source code management tools, especially Git.

Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications.

Eligibility

• Experience in deploying and managing production environments in Amazon AWS
• Strong experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Knowledge of application build, deployment, and configuration using one of the tools: Jenkins

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale production infrastructure in AWS for the HappyFox platform and its products.
• Research, Build/Implement systems, services and tooling to improve uptime, reliability and maintainability of our backend infrastructure. And to meet our internal SLOs and customer-facing SLAs.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in handling/building Production environments in AWS.
• At least 2 years of programming experience in building API/backend services for customer-facing applications in production.
• Demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP and DNS fundamentals.
• Experience in deploying and managing production Python/NodeJS/Golang applications to AWS EC2, ECS or EKS.
• Proficient in containerised environments such as Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes
• Proficient in managing/patching servers with Unix-based operating systems like Ubuntu Linux.
• Proficient in writing automation scripts using any scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Bash etc.,
• Experience in setting up and managing test/staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK

As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining the GIT repository, DevOps tools like Jenkins, UCD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jfrog Artifactory, Cloud monitoring tools, and Cloud security.

• Set up, configure, and maintain GIT repos, Jenkins, UCD, etc. for multi-hosting cloud environments.
• Architect and maintain the server infrastructure in AWS. Build highly resilient infrastructure following industry best practices.
• Work on Docker images and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and maintain the automation scripts using Ansible or other available tools.
• Maintain and monitor cloud Kubernetes Clusters and patching when necessary.
• Work on Cloud security tools to keep applications secured.
• Participate in software development lifecycle, specifically infra design, execution, and debugging required to achieve a successful implementation of integrated solutions within the portfolio.
• Have the necessary technical and professional expertise.

• Minimum 5-12 years of experience in the IT industry.
• Expertise in implementing and managing DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience in DevOps automation tools. Well versed with DevOps Frameworks, and Agile.
• Working knowledge of scripting using Shell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or chef.
• Experience and good understanding of any Cloud like AWS, Azure, or Google cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting skills with proven abilities in resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience working with ticketing tools.
• Middleware technologies knowledge or database knowledge is desirable.
• Experience with Jira is a plus.
