We seek a skilled and motivated Azure DevOps engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Azure DevOps tools and services. You will collaborate closely with development and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure CLI.
• Monitor and optimize Azure environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure.
• Implement and manage version control systems, primarily using Git.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.

Job Description:

• Drive end-to-end automation from GitHub/GitLab/BitBucket to Deployment,

Observability and Enabling the SRE activities

• Guide operations support (setup, configuration, management, troubleshooting) of

digital platforms and applications

• Solid understanding of DevSecOps Workflows that support CI, CS, CD, CM, CT.

• Deploy, configure, and manage SaaS and PaaS cloud platform and applications

• Provide Level 1 (OS, patching) and Level 2 (app server instance troubleshooting)

• DevOps programming: writing scripts, building operations/server instance/app/DB

monitoring tools Set up / manage continuous build and dev project management

environment: JenkinX/GitHub Actions/Tekton, Git, Jira Designing secure networks,

systems, and application architectures

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure product development

• Disaster recovery, network forensics analysis, and pen-testing solutions

• Planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures

5 to 10 years of software development & coding experience

Experience with Infrastructure as Code development (Automation, CICD) AWS CloudFormation, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy are a must have. 

Experience troubleshooting AWS policy or permissions related errors during resource deployments \

Programming experience; preferred Python, PowerShell, bash development experience \

Have Experience with application build automation tools like Apache Maven, Jenkins, Concourse, and Git supporting continuous integration / continuous deployment capabilities (CI/CD) à GitHub and GitHub actions for deployments are must-have skills (Maven, Jenkins, etc. are nice to have)

Have configuration management experience (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible)

Worked in a Development Shop or have SDLC hands on Experience

Familiar with how to write software, test plans, automate and release using modern development methods

AWS certified at an appropriate level

• At least 5 year of experience in Cloud technologies-AWS and Azure and developing. 
• Experience in implementing DevOps practices and DevOps-tools in areas like CI/CD using Jenkins environment automation, and release automation, virtualization, infra as a code or metrics tracking.
• Hands on experience in DevOps tools configuration in different environments.
• Strong knowledge of working with DevOps design patterns, processes and best practices
• Hand-on experience in Setting up Build pipelines.
• Prior working experience in system administration or architecture in Windows or Linux.

• Good to have experience in migrating code repositories from one source control to another.

We are looking for candidates that have experience in development and have performed CI/CD based projects. Should have a good hands-on Jenkins Master-Slave architecture, used AWS native services like CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline. Should have experience in setting up cross platform CI/CD pipelines which can be across different cloud platforms or on-premise and cloud platform.

As a Cloud Operations Manager in Acqueon you will need…. 

• 8 years’ progressive experience managing IT infrastructure and global cloud environments such as AWS, GCP (must)
• 3-5 years management experience leading a Cloud Operations / Site Reliability / Production Engineering team working with globally distributed teams in a fast-paced environment
• 3-5 years’ experience in IAC (Terraform, K8)
• 3+ years end-to-end incident management experience
• Experience with communicating and presenting to all stakeholders
• Experience with Cloud Security compliance and audits
• Detail-oriented. The ideal candidate is one who naturally digs as deep as they need to understand the why
• Knowledge on GCP will be added advantage

Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of experience in building infrastructure experience with Cloud Providers ( AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience in deploying containerized applications build on NodeJS/PHP/Python to kubernetes cluster.

• Experience in monitoring production workload with relevant metrics and dashboards.

• Experience in writing automation scripts using Shell, Python, Terraform, etc.

• Experience in following security practices while setting up the infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage various resources across different cloud providers. (Azure, AWS, and GCP)

• Monitor and optimize infrastructure cost.

• Manage various kubernetes clusters with appropriate monitoring and alerting setup.

• Build CI/CD pipelines to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of various services into kubernetes infrastructure.

• Work closely with the development team on upcoming features to determine the correct infrastructure and related tools.

• Assist the support team with escalated customer issues.
