Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Developer/Engineer with experience in designing, developing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Azure infrastructure deployment using Terraform,Kubernetes (AKS) with advanced networking, and Helm Charts for application management.Experience with AWS is a plus. This role requires hands-on expertise in deploying scalable, secure,and highly available cloud solutions with strong networking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform through CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with advanced networking features, including on-premise connectivity.
• Create and manage Helm Charts, ensuring best practices for configuration, templating, and application lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure optimal cloud infrastructure architecture.
• Implement high-level networking solutions including Azure Private Link, VNET Peering, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, scalability, and security using tools like Azure Cost Management, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, integrating Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Implement security best practices, including Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the cloud environment using Azure Service Health, Log Analytics, and Azure Sentinel.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) and organizational security policies.
• Work with Azure Key Vault for secrets and certificate management.
• Explore multi-cloud strategies, integrating AWS services where necessary.

Key Skills Required:

• Azure Cloud Infrastructure Deployment: Expertise in provisioning and managing Azure resources using Terraform within CI/CD pipelines.
• Kubernetes (AKS) with Advanced Networking: Experience in designing AKS clusters with private networking, hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN), and security best practices.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Bicep): Deep understanding of defining and maintaining cloud infrastructure through code.
• Helm Charts: Strong expertise in creating, deploying, and managing Helm-based Kubernetes application deployments.
• Networking & Security: In-depth knowledge of VNET Peering, Private Link, ExpressRoute,Application Gateway, WAF, and hybrid networking.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with building and managing Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics,and Azure Sentinel.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Cost Optimization (FinOps): Strong knowledge of Azure Cost Management and cloud financial governance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably with Azure-focused infrastructure deployment and Kubernetes networking.
• Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture.

Nice to Have (AWS Experience):

What You'll Do

 Troubleshooting and analyzing technical issues raised by internal and external users.

 Working with Monitoring tools like Prometheus / Nagios / Zabbix.

 Developing automation in one or more technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Puppet, Chef will be preferred.

 Monitor infrastructure alerts and take proactive action to avoid downtime and customer impacts.

 Working closely with the cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

 Test, build, design, deployment, and ability to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using tools like Jenkins, maven Git, etc.

 Work in close coordination with the development and operations team such that the application is in line with performance according to the customer's expectations.

What you should have

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or any related field.

 3 - 6 years of experience in Linux / Unix, cloud computing techniques.

 Familiar with working on cloud and datacenter for enterprise customers.

 Hands-on experience on Linux / Windows / Mac OS’s and Batch/Apple/Bash scripting.

 Experience with various databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL.

 Familiar with AWS technologies like EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, etc.

 Must know how to choose the best tools and technologies which best fit the business needs.

 Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins etc.

 Excellent organizational skills to adapt to a constantly changing technical environment

As a SaaS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for providing automated tooling and process enhancements for SaaS deployment, application and infrastructure upgrades and production monitoring.

• Development of automation scripts and pipelines for deployment and monitoring of new production environments.

• Development of automation scripts for upgrades, hotfixes deployments and maintenance.

• Work closely with Scrum teams and product groups to support the quality and growth of the SaaS services.

• Collaborate closely with SaaS Operations team to handle day-to-day production activities - handling alerts and incidents.

• Assist SaaS Operations team to handle customers focus projects: migrations, features enablement.

• Write Knowledge articles to document known issues and best practices.

What achievements should you have so far?

- Will work collaboratively with the engineering and customer support teams to deploy and operate our systems. 

- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.

- Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. 

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our test and production environments. 

- Take control of various mandates and change management processes to ensure compliance for various certifications (PCI and ISO 27001 in particular) 

- Monitor and optimize the usage of various cloud services. 

- Setup and enforce CI/CD processes and practices

Skills required :

- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, ELB, S3, SES, to name a few)

- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and hardening 

- Experience with automation using Ansible, Terraform or equivalent 

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools (Jenkins) 

- Experience with container related technologies (docker, lxc, rkt, docker swarm, kubernetes)

#Triage and troubleshoot issues on the AWS and GCP and participate in a rotating on-call schedule and address urgent issues quickly
