Role : Senior Engineer Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

● Infrastructure Development and Management: Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance,security, and availability. Lead transition and migration projects, moving legacy systemsto cloud-based solutions.

● Develop and maintain applications and services using Golang.

● Automation and Optimization: Implement automation tools and frameworksto optimize operational processes. Monitorsystem performance, optimizing and modifying systems as necessary.

● Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security by implementing industry best practices and compliance requirements. Respond to and mitigate security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

● Good understanding of prominent backend languageslike Golang, Python, Node.js, or others.

● In-depth knowledge of network architecture,system security, infrastructure scalability.

● Proficiency with development tools,server management, and database systems.

● Strong experience with cloud services(AWS.), deployment,scaling, and management.

● Knowledge of Azure is a plus

● Familiarity with containers and orchestration services,such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

● Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse cloud infrastructure requirements

• Automating system tasks and infrastructure using a scripting language (Shell/Python/Ruby

preferred), with configuration management tools (Ansible/ Puppet/Chef), service registry and

discovery tools (Consul and Vault, etc), infrastructure orchestration tools (Terraform,

CloudFormation), and automated imaging tools (Packer)

• Support existing infrastructure, analyse problem areas and come up with solutions

• An eye for monitoring – the candidate should be able to look at complex infrastructure and be

able to figure out what to monitor and how.

• Work along with the Engineering team to help out with Infrastructure / Network automation needs.

• Deploy infrastructure as code and automate as much as possible

• Manage a team of DevOps

Desired Profile:

• Understanding of provisioning of Bare Metal and Virtual Machines

• Working knowledge of Configuration management tools like Ansible/ Chef/ Puppet, Redfish.

• Experience in scripting languages like Ruby/ Python/ Shell Scripting

• Working knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing, firewalling & IPS concepts

• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.

• Self-starter who can implement with minimal guidance

• Hands-on experience setting up CICD from SCRATCH in Jenkins

• Hands on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)

The expectation is to set up complete automation of CI/CD pipeline & monitoring and ensure high availability of the pipeline. The automated deployment environment can be on-prem or cloud (virtual instances, containerized and serverless). Complete test automation and ensure Security of Application as well as Infrastructure.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Configure Jenkins with load distribution between master/slave Setting up the CI pipeline with Jenkins and Cloud(AWS or Azure) Code Build Static test (Quality & Security) Setting up Dynamic Test configuration with selenium and other tools Setting up Application and Infrastructure scanning for security. Post-deployment security plan including PEN test. Usage of RASP tool. Extensive hands-on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery technology experience of .Net, Node, Java and C++ based projects(Web, mobile and Standalone). Experience configuring and managing

• Development and maintenance of Continuous Integration System on JENKINS.

Required Qualifications:

Specific responsibilities commensurate with experience and include:

• Design, develop, unit test, and implement build automation scripts including environment configuration validation processes

• Determine branching strategy and maintain branches for various components, products, and product lines

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years (minimum) experience handling Build, Release, and Deployment of software on Windows and/or Linux environments (on-premise)
• Experience with the development and deployment of CM processes and tools
• Build automation for .NET using TeamCity (Jenkins is an asset)
• Scripting languages: Windows batch scripting, Powershell, Ant/NAnt
• Source control systems usage, branching strategies, and workflow (Git preferred, Subversion)
• 6+ years of hands-on programming experience with C# and .NET (both Framework and Core)
• Troubleshooting and debugging-- what information to gather when there are issues with CI/CD system, and how to gather it (i.e., analyzing network communication? Windows crash dumps, java logs, etc.)
• 6+ years (minimum) in web/desktop application software development experience

• Creation and maintenance of monitoring and alert systems (Zabbix)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL-based) - create, modify, optimize (via script)
