The Amazon Kindle Reader and Shopping Support Engineering team provides production engineering support and is also responsible for providing multifaceted services to the Kindle digital product family of development teams and working with production operations teams for software product release coordination and deployment. This job requires you to hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks that will define your success

Job responsibilities

• Provide support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services
• Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in Java and C++
• Software deployment support in staging and production environments
• Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance
• System and Support status reporting
• Ownership of one or more Digital products or components
• Customer notification and workflow coordination and follow-up to maintain service level agreements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of software development, or 4+ years of technical support experience

7. Create and distribute event-related communications, invitations, and promotional materials to enhance event participation and awareness, while securing speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities at industry conferences and events.

8. Develop and implement internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement and alignment with corporate values and goals. This includes creating and distributing internal communications materials, organizing town hall meetings, employee forums, and facilitating open dialogue.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

2. 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles.

3. Strong knowledge of corporate communications principles, strategies, and best practices.

4. Proficiency in communication tools, digital platforms, and analytics for content creation, distribution, and measurement.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and impactful messaging.

6. Creative thinking and the ability to develop unique content ideas and innovative communication strategies.
