Role & Responsibilities:
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Manager - Investment (Start-up Fundraising) to lead fundraising, manage investor relationships, and drive portfolio growth. The role requires a mix of financial expertise, investor engagement, and strong networking ability to achieve AUM growth and revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in capital raising, managing HNIs/Family Offices/Venture Partners, and expanding investor networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & AUM Growth-
- Drive growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) by meeting set targets.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through investor onboarding and capital deployment.
Investor Relationship Management-
- Research, identify, and connect with high-potential investors (HNIs, Family Offices, Institutions).
- Nurture relationships with inactive investors and convert them into active contributors.
- Build long-term trust by ensuring transparency, timely updates, and strong portfolio communication.
- Proactively outreach and pitch company’s value proposition and curated start-up campaigns.
- Seamlessly onboard new investors, ensuring smooth KYC, onboarding, and activation.
Business Development & Conversion-
- Source, qualify, and onboard new investors through referrals, networking, and events.
- Leverage existing investor networks for introductions and referrals.
- Manage pipeline of new investor conversions and ensure smooth onboarding process.
Networking & Outreach-
- Represent the firm in industry events, conferences, and investor summits to expand reach.
- Stay updated on funding trends, investor behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct one-on-one investor meetings to present opportunities and investment strategies.
- Establish strong connections with Venture Partners, Family Offices, and Institutional Investors for strategic collaborations.
Strategic Input & Reporting-
- Prepare and present investment proposals and performance reports.
- Work closely with the investment team to align fundraising strategy with portfolio needs.
- Track KPIs (AUM growth, investor reach-outs, referrals, event participation, conversions, revenue).
Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of proven experience in fundraising for start-up.
- Strong investor network with HNIs, Family Offices, and Institutions.
- Track record of achieving AUM/revenue targets and closing investor commitments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, and target-driven approach.
Key duties and responsibilities include
- Expert in configuring, managing, and customizing the Salesforce CPQ (Configure Price
- Quote), CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) and Orders Lifecycle.
- Understand the Data Model related to Salesforce CPQ.
- In-depth knowledge in Product setup, Product Options, Product configuration & rules, Pricing, Discounting, and Quote templates in Salesforce CPQ.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce CPQ with external systems using connectors, SOAP/REST API.
- Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including technical and functional capabilities.
- Design and implement Quote to Cash solutions using Salesforce CPQ Optimization of solutions through an understanding of business needs and technology capabilities.
- Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed.
- Work closely with key stakeholders/project team to recommend and agree technical solutions to meet business requirements.
Skills and experience required
- Should have 4+ years of implementation experience on Salesforce Development.
- Should have min 2+ years of hands on experience of CPQ Development.
- Good Salesforce programming skills (Apex and Visualforce/LWC)
- Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform and suite of Salesforce products.
- Ability to design and provide solutions using Salesforce.com out of box features and custom development tools.
- Extensive experience in all phases of SFDC process which involves requirement gathering, requirement analysis, design, development, implementation Integration & enhancement in Salesforce projects.
- Extensive knowledge of product configuration, complex pricing rules & sequence, quote configurator plugins & Salesforce CPQ APIs.
- Good understanding of Salesforce CPQ Price Waterfall methodology.
- Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like amendments, renewals, and order management. Proven experience in solution design, effort estimation, and work breakdown for assigned tasks to support Agile practices.
- Effective verbal, and written communication skills.
- Good work ethic, passion for product quality, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience
- Salesforce CPQ certification is mandatory.
