Position: Deputy Manager – Motor Control Unit Software Testing Engineer

About the Role 

We are looking for a Motor Control Unit (MCU) Software Testing Engineer with experience in software functional verification at component and vehicle level for automotive motor control applications. The role involves component-level and vehicle-level functional verification of motor control software, execution of test strategies, calibration, dyno testing, and validation activities for induction motor and PMSM-based systems.The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in MCU software testing, debugging, calibration, and validation using industry-standard automotive tools and processes.

  Key Responsibilities 

• Perform functional verification and validation of Motor Control Unit software at component and vehicle level
• Work on Motor Control Field Oriented Control (FOC) software architecture for  Induction Motors,  Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM)
• Create and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) for MCU software
• Perform Software unit level testing,  System level testing,  Dyno tuning activities
• Develop test cases, execute test scenarios, identify issues, and coordinate with development teams for issue resolution
• Generate validation and testing reports for validation teams
• Prepare and maintain DVPR documents, SOR documents, Production reports
• Perform MCU software calibration activities at vehicle level
• Utilize testing and debugging tools including  Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Lauterbach debugger tools, PLS systems

Required Skills  

• Strong understanding of Motor Control FOC software architecture
• Good knowledge of Embedded C programming
• Experience in automotive embedded software testing and validation
• Experience in software debugging, calibration, and verification activities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills 

• To be able to handle clients on their own. Responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Regularly interacting with team through telephone calls, email communications, or virtual meetings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Virtual Platforms like Zoom / MS Teams / Google Meet. Effective communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Should be a team player.
• Travel out of station will be required as per demands of the projec

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Two or more years of user experience design experience for software, web applications and/or mobile devices.

Strong conceptualisation ability, drawing skills and paper prototyping technique.

Cognisant of production timelines and having attention to detail.

Ability to create task flows, high fidelity wireframes, micro interactions as well as visual design.

Strong working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Axure and associated UX design tools.

Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UX practices and heuristics.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

ADDITIONAL

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interaction design, new media design or related design field.

Portfolio to accompany resume.

Background check and reference checks required upon hire.

Responsibilities of candidate include:

• Calling and visiting customers 

• Collect payment

➢ Demonstrates ownership to resolve challenging customer issues, escalating 

when necessary.

➢ Call customers with overdue accounts. 

➢ understand and explain benefits of repayment and credit history of 

customer. 

➢ Correct customer misunderstanding on product policy and terms.

 ➢ Set up payment plan and follow-up schedule. 

➢ Educate customer on consequences for late payment.

 ➢ Escalate difficult or unusable case to team leaders. 

➢ Provide feedback on reason for default to team Leader.

Requires candidates who is fluent in English and Hindi or English and 2 South Indian Languages

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Contacting potential & existing clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings

2. Conducting research on organizations to find new opportunities

3. Working on increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones

4. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales

5. Helping the team with various marketing initiatives

6. Assisting the team in developing quotes and proposals for clients

7. Coordinating with the development team to resolve customer issues, give demonstrations, and upsell & cross-sell
