Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer at Rawmart in Pune. The Design Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to design engineering, mechanical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), and product design. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective design and implementation of projects.

Qualifications

• Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills
• Proficiency in Auto Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, CATIA V5, AutoCAD Smart Draw floor and plant
• layout planning GD&T, DFM, DFA, DFS, DFMA
• Experience in Product Design.
• Proficiency in 2D & 3D Design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field

Senior Developer should have exposure to building logistics products.

Skilled in RESTful & GraphQL APIs, microservices, and database optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Experienced in authentication (OAuth, JWT), caching (Redis, Memcached), and real-time applications (WebSockets).

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Passionate about scalability, performance tuning, security best practices, and clean code architecture.

As a Lead - Application Engineer, you will work with our Application Engineering team on designing and developing web applications.

More specifically, you might:

• Collaborate with business analysts and technical managers to understand functional, and non-functional requirements, and scope.
• Design and develop multi-tier, cloud-native, high-performance, and scalable solutions
• Indulge in applying benchmarking software engineering principles and design patterns to build robust world-class solutions.
• Direct cross-functional agile teams as a leader across the software development lifecycle
• Analyse design alternatives using proofs-of-concept, and engage with architects to choose the best optimal solutions
• Obsess about writing high-quality code and performing reviews of the design and code.
• Interact and collaborate with project/program managers to estimate, plan, and reduce technical concerns at the module or project level.
• Ideate with your peers, support their work, and provide constructive feedback on their solutions.

Educational Background:

• Have very good hands on experience of Core Java, Spring, Hibernate and related JEE technologies
• Have good understanding of data structure and algorithms
• Good in programming fundamentals
