We at clubb.fit are looking for a passionate and talented MERN stack developer who can help us revolutionise fitness and sports in India.

clubb.fit is working towards a vision of normalising sports and fitness as an everyday part for Indian adults and kids. We want to create a community of fitness and sports enthusiasts, and convert those non-enthusiasts into enthusiasts.

As the full stack developer, you will have a chance to work on all aspects of our tech, and have freedom to experiment and fail. We see tech as an integral part of making the customer journey more engaging. So if you are somebody who looks at an app and thinks "oh I think these guys should also have this exciting xyz feature added", then we are the right team for you.

You will be working with our senior developer, and help us improve the platform at a fast pace.

We are a small team, and everyone has the freedom to express and introduce ideas. You will work closely with the founding team and help them execute their vision through your tech super power.

The timings on this role are flexible - you can do it part time or full time - with work from office 2 times a week in Bangalore, in case you are in Bangalore..

The role comes with equity stake in a startup and we are aiming to raise our first round in next 6 months.

 

What you need to have:

• Proficiency with vector graphics tools such as Figma/Sketch/AI (Preferably Figma)
• Ability to visualize the big picture of a project into product concepts and design directions
• Good understanding of the web and mobile app design ecosystem
• Ability to use prototyping tools
• A knack to stay updated about the latest design trends, techniques and technologies

What you will do:

• Day to day sourcing for the region (Maharashtra and Gujrat)
• Working closely with business development team and operations team to ensure the client expectations are properly met in terms of time and quality of sourcing
• Building and developing the required team to achieve the targets
• Driving efficiencies to maintain sourcing service levels and expanding margins of the region
• Building and implementing processes to increase the overall efficiency and reliability of the region
• Participating in cross-functional projects for high priority initiatives and bringing process and data-driven focused approach to support the organization's goals
• Driving change management to ensure efficient implementations of any new strategic change
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders like Operations, Finance, Product, Sales and New initiatives with the objective to drive stakeholder success
• Ensuring excellent customer and partner experience

 

Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

• Graduates from Tier 1/2 Engineering colleges/Post Graduate from Tier 1/2 Management colleges with good academic performance
• 4-8 years of frontline Operation/sourcing/channel management experience or P&L Management
• Strong leadership qualities to lead a large geographically spread team
• Ability to manage conflicts and good stakeholder management skills
• Multi-tasking capabilities and inter departmental coordination
• Product first mindset and relevant experience is a useful plus
• Experience in channel management in B2C space will be very useful
• A strong team sport background is a plus (showcasing the long term commitment and rigor)   

Must have strong experience with Liferay portal development 6.2 and 7.2 DXP.
Must have experience in Knowledge Base and Document & media OOBT portlet.
Must have experience with SQL Server (preferred).
Hands-on experience with JSR 286, OSGI, JAVA, J2EE, Portlet, Hooks, AJAX, Javascript, JQuery, Freemarker, HTML5, CSS3.
Expert in any relational database with SQL Unit testing, State management, git, SVN
The theme, Layout, AUI, Liferay patching, Gradle/Maven, Band, Kaleo workflows, SOAP, and Restful web services.

Job Purpose :

The Role

We are looking for full-stack developers with experience in building user interface components for serverless applications using React. 

The role involves working with the product management team, understand the business requirements, and take full responsibility of design, development, test and release of the applications. 

Requirements:

• Passion for building and delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership. 
• 2+ years of experience in building web applications using React with strong CSS skills.
• Independently develop new user-facing features from designs and wireframes
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
