We build the Network side of the products to achieve dense on-ground digital coverage by working with & aggregating different types of partners. Further help set the standards for scaling sustainably for the future. We also build the User side of the products to make road travel experience for our vehicle owners and drivers contactless and fully autonomous. 

About the role:

1. Meet both technical and consumer needs.
2. Design client-side and server-side architecture that can scale to thousands of end users.
3. Ensure cross-platform optimisation and responsiveness of applications.
4. Write and review technical documentation.
5. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
6. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
7. Create security and data protection processes.
8. Design and develop efficient APIs.
9. Ability to quickly adapt and migrate code to most current technologies.

Role requirements:

1. 2+ years of proven experience working as a Fullstack Developer
2. Proficiency with multiple front-end languages and frameworks (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, React Native)
3. Knowledge of back-end languages (Node JS)
4. Knowledge of AWS, Firebase, GIT and CI/CD tools.
5. Hands-on experience with databases (e.g. Postgres, MongoDB).
6. Bias for action - ability to move quickly while taking time out to review the details.
7. Clear communicator - Ability to synthesise and clearly articulate complex information, highlighting key takeaways and actionable insights.
8. Team player - Working mostly autonomously, yet being a team player keeping your crews looped-in.

Responsibilities

• Build an effective candidate pipeline through Inbound/Outbound sourcing channels with minimal dependency
• Co-ordinate for interview panel, schedule interviews, and run debriefs efficiently
• Be able to recruit active/passive candidates for Tech roles
• Possess strong ability to pre-screen interview candidates
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and ongoing relationship management
• Communicate well with the hiring manager and stakeholders to ensure an effective interview process.

A candidate with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in Snowflakes Data Cloud.

Mandatory Skills:

• Excellent knowledge in Snowflakes Data Cloud.

• Excellent knowledge in SQL

• Good knowledge in ETL

• Must have working knowledge of Azure Data Factory

• Must have general awareness of Azure Cloud

• Must be aware of optimization techniques in Data retrieval and Data loading.

• Hands-on Java Engineers, with experience building consumer-facing or enterprise applications using Java stack – Spring, Hibernate, MySQL
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and Design patterns.

Do You Know? (Skills good to have)

• Exposure to building service-oriented distributed systems

Roles and Responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate with his Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering, Automation, or an adjacent field with experience in Maritime Systems is also welcome. Alternatively experienced electrical officers with maritime experience/ Naval experience with exposure to the above areas are welcome

Prior work experience in the Maritime Industry preferably with strong competence in some or all of the below is desirable :

• Marine Automation, Marine Electrical Systems
• Communication Systems, NAVCOM systems
• Experience in working with PLCs, RTU, Gateway, Edge Devices/ Data Loggers
• Systems operation and maintenance
• In-Depth knowledge of maintenance, commissioning of Marine Electrical and NAVCOM Systems Ability to carry out in-depth troubleshooting and guide vessels for effective case resolutions
• Work Experience as an Electrical/ Technical Superintendent will be a Plus
• Prior experience in the review of the vessel's drawings and machinery specification a must
• Carry out vessel inspection visits as required, Supervise retrofit installations during digital automation & Smart Ship Platform implementation.

• The candidate will be driving global delivery, conducting ship inspection to identify vessel machinery from which data signals can be fetched.
• The candidate must have past experience in data telemetry from various machinery such as Main Engine, DG Sets, Boiler, Flowmeters, Emission, Emissions, Ballast, etc.
• Candidate must have experience of working with data signals RS485 NMEA, 4..20 mA, 0..10 V, etc.
• The candidate will work in close coordination with technology specialists, data scientists, and chief engineers with experience in vessel and voyage performance management.
• Prior experience with various control systems, especially for: data telemetry, gateway configuration, working with different PLCs such as Siemens, Alan Bradley, etc.
• Candidates with experience in only navigation & communication systems are also welcome.
• Candidates will be working on cutting edge technology & new age maritime business practices to come up with solutions for the global maritime industry.
• Any experience across electrical systems of the vessels and awareness of various machinery parameters are welcome.
• Awareness & knowledge of power generation, automation systems, reefer container monitoring

, experience in PMS is an added advantage.
