Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer for IT Services Management Team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the application management of a B2C application to meet the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and fulfil customer expectations. 

You will act as an On-call-duty team in the time between 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM IST- 365 days a year. We are seeking a hands-on Software Developer with strong experience in Frontend + DevOps knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Problem Management & Incident Management activities: Identifying and resolving technical issues and errors that arise during application usage. 

Release and Update Coordination: Planning and executing software updates, new versions, or system upgrades to keep applications up to date.

Change Management: Responsible for implementing and coordinating changes to the application, considering the impact on ongoing operations.

Requirements:

Education and Experience: 

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience or equivalent work experience.

Skills & Expertise:

Proficient in ITIL service management frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experienced in project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban).

Excellent English Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders.

Experience in 24x7 application On call Support and ready to work in shifts on a Hybrid /WFH mode.

This assignment is a long-term contract for more than 3 years.

Good knowledge in Frontend Technologies like Frontend & DevOps – skill set given below.

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Navi, you will be building a resilient infrastructure platform, using modern Infrastructure engineering practices.

You will be responsible for the availability, scaling, security, performance and monitoring of the navi Cloud platform. You’ll be joining a team that follows best practices in infrastructure as code

• Build out the Infrastructure components like API Gateway, Service Mesh, Service Discovery, container orchestration platform like kubernetes.
• Developing reusable Infrastructure code and testing frameworks
• Build meaningful abstractions to hide the complexities of provisioning modern infrastructure components
• Design a scalable Centralized Logging and Metrics platform
• Drive solutions to reduce Mean Time To Recovery(MTTR), enable High Availability.

• Good to have experience in managing large scale cloud infrastructure, preferable AWS and Kubernetes
• Experience in developing applications using programming languages like Java, Python and Go
• Experience in handling logs and metrics at a high scale.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

• Work with developers to build out CI/CD pipelines, enable self-service build tools and reusable deployment jobs. Find, explore, and advocate for new technologies for enterprise use.

Technical Skills

• Experience with AWS multi-region/multi-AZ deployed systems, auto-scaling of EC2 instances, CloudFormation, ELBs, VPCs, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, Route53, RDS, IAM roles, security groups, cloud watch
• Experience in Data Visualization and Monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana
• Experienced in Build and CI/CD/CT technologies like GitHub, Chef, Artifactory, Hudson/Jenkins
• Experience with log collection, filter creation, and analysis, builds, and performance monitoring/tuning of infrastructure.
• Automate the provisioning of environments pulling strings with Puppet, cooking up some recipes with Chef, or through Ansible, and the deployment of those environments using containers, like Docker or Rocket: (have at least some configuration management tool through some version control).

Qualifications:

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.C.A in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 60% in Graduation and Post-Graduation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

• Experienced in Cloud (AWS, Digital Ocean, Google& Azure) development and System Operations.
• Cloud Storage Services and prior experience in designing and building infrastructure components in Amazon. DigitalOcean (or other cloud providers).
• Strong Linux experience (Red Hat 6.x/CentOS 5.x & 6.x, Debian).
• Expert Knowledge in - Git, Jenkins
• Should have experience in CI/CD Automation using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, puppet/Mcollective, Chef Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Hashicorp Vault Docker, Kubernetes, Python Scripting etc.
• Good working knowledge with scripting languages such as Python, php
• Good communications and Presentation Skills

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related field
