About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and Django to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with payment/fintech companies and be passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python/Django.
• Work on integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, and financial services.
• Ensure system security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
• Prior experience in payment/fintech domain (mandatory).
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of payment systems, PCI compliance, security protocols, and transaction workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of data security, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance in fintech.

Experience and complete knowledge of:

• Adobe Photoshop, AI, & Lightroom.
• Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.

• Understand our Dynamics 365 architecture and continue to maintain and improve the system based on new requirements.
• Liaise with our Global Sales Team to implement new features in Dynamics 365.
• Work closely with our internal research teams to implement solutions in SharePoint Online.
• Explore and propose new solutions, primarily in the Microsoft environment around data management (including Azure Data Lake & Power BI).

Skillset:

• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps; Flow; Logic Apps; PowerBI).
