Job Summary: Responsible for Accounting, Finance, Audit and MIS of the Company. As head of Accounts will oversee the accounting of the holding company and subsidiaries/associate companies and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data, guiding the Accounts / Finance team, and implementing strategic financial processes. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, Accounting Standards, Financial/ cost analysis, Budgeting, Working-capital Management, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Inventory management, Versatility in ERP Accounting Software systems along with strong leadership skills to manage day-to-day operations and support organisational growth.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

·        Oversee the preparation of day to day, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

·        Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax reporting requirements, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, TCS and other relevant regulations.

·        Manage audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion of Audit and accurate reporting.

·        Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain data accuracy and integrity.


2. Cost Accounting & Analysis:

·        Lead the cost accounting processes, including product costing, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.

·        Work closely with Plant and Operation team to analyse cost drivers

·        Develop detailed cost structures and maintain cost allocation across departments.


3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

·        Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts, aligning with organizational goals.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

5. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

·        Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles, optimise payment terms, and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and customers.
