CLOUD DEVELOPER

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Backend Java Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and building high-performance, scalable backend applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable and robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integrations.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving microservices, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance and participate in debugging and troubleshooting sessions.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality releases.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth where required.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Core Java / Java 8
• Spring Boot, Spring Framework
• Microservices architecture
• REST APIs
• Experience with:
• Kafka (preferred)
• MySQL or other relational databases
• Batch processing, application performance tuning, caching strategies
• Web security / application security
• Solid understanding of software design principles and scalable system design.

Preferred

• Male candidates preferred (client-mentioned requirement).
• Experience working in fintech, payments, or high-scale production environments

Minimum 7-12 Years of Core Java Programming with Collections Framework, Concurrent Programming, Multi-threading (Good knowledge in Executor service, Forkjoin pool and other threading concepts)

·        Good knowledge of the JVM with an understanding of performance and memory optimization.

·        Extensive and expert programming experience in JAVA programming language (strong OO skills preferred).

·        Excellent knowledge on collections like, Array List, Vector, LinkedList, Hashmap, HashTable, HashSet is mandate.

·        Exercised exemplary development practices including design specification, coding standards, unit testing, and code-reviews.

·        Expert level understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and Data Structures

·        Good experience in Database (Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server) like indexing (clustered, non clustered), hashing, segmenting, data types like clob / blob, views (materialized), replication, constraints,            functions, triggers, procedures etc.

Job Responsibility:

• Work in collaboration with the Design and Technology Team Team, break down epics into features and features into stories to build MVP solutions to enable benefits realization in the shortest possible time frame
• Utilize analysis expertise to consistently elaborate requirements into detailed solutions.
• Facilitate discussions with Technical Leads and Squads to review and estimate features and stories
• You will work alongside the Product Owner to ensure that features and stories are continuously prioritized on the backlog and aligned to business value streams
• Contribute towards sprint planning for the Squad, ensuring that prioritization and dependencies are considered when bringing new work in for development
• To understand business requirement
• Understanding business requirements through user requirements gathering sessions
• to take lead a project from the very beginning till the project is delivered successfully
• Mapping business requirements to Functional solutions and Preparing BRD document
• Creating Functional specifications from which developers can create application solutions.
• Prepare a test Plan with scenarios and Test cases, detailing the test steps. Identify and gather data from various sources. Execute test cases and record result
• Take ownership of product delivery timelines and milestones typical tasks to involve analysis of business requirement requests, liaising with the Development Team and Management to complete development, support of UAT
• Analyze business problems and provide solutions.
• Participate with peers and represent the business on project teams
• Should be able to communicate the business idea and thought process clearly

• Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Familiarity with the latest technology like Blockchain is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

1.     Significant experience of working in front-end web development
2.     Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap, Foundation or Materialize
3.     Angular Material, Chart Libraries(D3, Leaflet, Amchart etc).
4.     Solid understanding and development experience in Angular
5.     Experience with Typescript
6.     Experience with tools like Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI and/or Gulp
7.     Experience consuming REST APIs
